ElLoboLoco Posted January 24 Posted January 24 The problem here in the south, if it snows it usually has some freezing rain as a precursor to the event. Growing up in the Buffalo area, I can handle snow but the ice is an easy stay home! 2 1
DaBoot Posted January 25 Posted January 25 Man this US storm is hitting areas not used to weather. While in northern Colorado, it will be 5 degrees F, possible light snow. So far it's been a drought of a season.

Growing up in the Buffalo area, I can handle snow but the ice is an easy stay home! My family went down to Buffalo a lot growing up. It felt fancy at the time.. but it was just outlet malls and Ponderosa (yeah, I know, but Canadians don't have that kind of buffet 😅). Wild snowstorms. Will never forget a guy waving the middle finger out the window at my dad, almost side swiping us off the road, passing us on the shoulder, and going straight into the median doing donuts at 100km in a borderline whiteout. Pretty sure he was okay... 1 2
Popular Post zacca Posted January 25 Popular Post Posted January 25 Me too…oh wait. Yeah my dogs hate it and after I clear the patio, I have to dig tunnels in the yard for them because I’m at about a foot here already and they’re small. On another note, I might as well have a Boli since it’s 3 degrees F. YOLO 9 1
Popular Post Çnote Posted January 25 Popular Post Posted January 25 In the interests of safety I was unable to get pictures, but there was a line at Whataburger and a gas station parking lot was filled with ATVs. Fort Worth representing. 6
ElLoboLoco Posted January 25 Posted January 25 Not snow but freezing rain and sleet. Looks like it ends around 10pm here. 4
