Nevrknow Posted November 27, 2024 Posted November 27, 2024 Cohiba is my thing. Behike. Just can't at these new prices. 2

Got hold of one as part of a vintage lot a year or so ago, and was sorely tempted, absolutely beautiful appearance and aroma, but couldn't bring myself to do it. Went for about £1.6k in the end. I will never smoke a £1.6k cigar...some part of me knows that innately. I think if a lit a cigar that valuable, I would also spontaneously combust. 1 2
SCgarman Posted November 27, 2024 Posted November 27, 2024 Any Cuban Davidoff that's not past it's "prime". Likely a unicorn these days. 1
Darco Posted November 27, 2024 Posted November 27, 2024 Cohiba Behike 40th anniversary Bolivar Espiciales (lanceros) Dunhill Estupendos If I can time travel, I will grab a large perfecto shaped cigar from the early 1900s. Not interested in how it will taste today.

For 1.6k, I would probably sell it too. Especially this late in the game. The odds of it being past it's prime are pretty high. 1

I always wondered if that has anything to do with the legendary status of the cigar. Were yours in tubes? If so, any comments about the log term benefit of keeping cigars in tubes? You should be able to get the PSD4s for just under $1200, but just barely. Not that I would know for sure.
HDGSN Posted November 27, 2024 Posted November 27, 2024 For the Estupendo talk… https://www.fohcigars.com/forum/topic/154527-late-1990-dunhill-estupendos/ 1
CampDelta369 Posted November 27, 2024 Posted November 27, 2024 A Behike would be a great, To have another cigar with my Father… Priceless 3

The tubes definitely work to physically protect the cigars, and theoretically, the less oxygen that reaches the cigars, the better they will age. But the big word there is "theoretically". People say it, and it seems like it makes sense, but I don't know if there have ever been any studies proving it. Oh. PS. Let's talk more about those sub $600 PSD4s. 😀

Lamboinee Posted November 28, 2024 Posted November 28, 2024 I would love to sample some regular production sticks from older decades to see how they compare with what I've smoked from the 2010-2024 years. If I had to pick specific individual cigars that I'd like to try: A Behike...never had one. I want to see what the hype is about. A Partagas 8-9-8. I love using the 8-9-8 packaging designation as part of the name. Any LFG that has a ring gauge of 42-50 OG davidoff MC Edmundo Dantes

Perla Posted November 28, 2024 Posted November 28, 2024 Cuban Davidoff and Cohiba 1966, here I was too shy to buy them. 1
BG318 Posted November 28, 2024 Posted November 28, 2024 Bolivar Gigantes, Cohiba Lanceros, Monte A, or QD Imperiales. That's my one cigar. 2
pohlmad Posted November 28, 2024 Posted November 28, 2024 Cohiba Behike for me. My curiosity of the medio tiempo would likely push me to pay the price but with so many fakes, I would only purchase from FOH. Let’s just say I’m not setting world records in my 24:24 speed 🤪
