It won’t surprise anyone here familiar with me that I’m picking the Eagles. It’s the best team in the franchise’s history. Even with their defense they’ll need to score, and have the weapons to do so.

Please send pictures…. of hunting equipment.

I went to Elementary school in Bucks County and the word "Jawn" is still one of my favorite words ever. My brothers and I still use it with each other all the time. Hahaha. People in Colorado have no clue what were talking about, it has to be one of the smallest regionally specific slang words in the country. Bound by the Delaware to the east and the Appalachians to the west.

Interesting news. I didn’t know this could be done but it makes sense if he was unemployed before signing a short “consulting” contract.

https://www.nfl.com/news/vic-fangio-quietly-signed-contract-with-eagles-to-help-prepare-them-for-super-bo

Not even 2 full weeks! haha He signed it at the beginning of the month and it expires at midnight tonight. Coaches don't have to go through free agency/waivers like players do, so if they get fired, they're free to move anywhere.

There was actually a lot of competition for his services. The Dolphins announced they hired him as their DC, then he said he hadn't signed the contract yet (because he was working on the contract with the eagles), then the Broncos swooped in after they hired Sean Payton and wanted to interview him for their DC spot and the word is Fangio parlayed that into a pretty sizeable bump in his contract with the Dolphins. Supposedly the 9ers were interested too. He/His Agent/Both look like Genius's.

It makes a ton of sense for the eagles, Fangio ran a defense that did pretty well against the Chiefs in 6 games over the last 3 years. He knows the opposition as well as anybody.

My wife considers Philly home - and is a huge Eagles fan.  I’m leaning Eagles 🦅.

I like KC and Mahomes…

but cannot stand his brother and his Tik Tok stuff while Patrick is on the field… yes I’m petty.  That alone makes me root against KC…

Many here in KC feel same about his brother!

Consider yourself fortunate up to this point, complete clown.

No luck/fortune at all. We're adults. Who don't spend our time on Tic Tok, Instagram, Snapchat, etc. Its very, very, very easy to avoid that cancerous crap.

That was an amazing game!! I don't understand why the NFL thought they needed to waste $800,000 on a new field, a week before the game. The existing field was fine and they didn't give the new grass time to root. That's why it was coming up in massive chunks. It looked like those guys where playing in socks on a hardwood floor. The same grounds keeper has been "responsible" for the field at all 57 superbowls. The so called "God of Sod", maybe he should just be a spectator for number 58.

The Refs made a few bad calls (as usual these past few years) but I feel like they missed a couple going both ways and it didnt end up changing the outcome. For example Goedert did not maintain possession of that ball as he was going out bounds. It was bobble city and they still gave him the catch. As a Giants Fan, I've never been a bigger Kadarius Toney fan than during that punt return. I dont know if I've ever seen anyone lip-syncing as obviously as Rihanna was, but I tuned in to watch the game and was not disappointed!

Giants fan here also. Game was as good as a game could get. Glad Mahomes toughed it out and showed his Super bowl experience. As far as half time show.....totally sucked. Lip synching, sexual innuendos, total garbage. Not appropriate for young kids at all. The "thug life" theme is a total turn off. Likely for many millions of other Americans as well.

it is nice that something can bring NY and DC fans together, even if it is just the eagles losing.

i thought it was a cracking game.

the comment earlier about the refs missing some calls is always going to be true. there was a potential hold on james bradberry that he got away with much earlier, so all the eagles fans expressing disappointment with the world could remember that. but to bradberry's great credit, coming out at the end and admitting it was a hold, good on him for that. would have been very easy to go the other way.

as for half time, i have heard of rhinana but could not tell you a single song she does. so i had other things to do until the game was back on. they spoiled half times shows with bruce. nothing was ever going to measure up again.

The game was very good. The half time show was lost on me. How did I get so old? Rihanna?  I  should be familiar with this woman? Oh, she sold two hundred fifty million records? She’s the second best selling female music artist of all time? America’s youngest self made billionaire because she started a very successful cosmetics company? Good for her but I’m out of touch....

I have not watched a half time show in years. Glad I missed it.

Impressive statistics and wealth don't make for an entertaining half-time performance. I thought it was downright bad. My wife even thought the same, and we are very different people. She wasn't even singing. Even a commoner like myself can lip- sync to a song.

Good game but the field conditions were a joke. At least both teams had to deal with it. Wasn’t a fan of the half time show.
