A PC with a late 2017 box code. The wrapper was not particularly alluring, with several prominent veins and little sheen. Cold draw was slightly on the tight side. Fired up using a single flame torch and with a determination to enjoy my final day of "work". A cigar and pint of Guinness will usually help to achieve this! This PC gave off a fairly low smoke output but draw and flavour were both good. Initial impressions were of paper/wood with some sweetness akin to rose turkish delight. It continued to burn well, requiring no touch ups. Flavours remained consistent and enjoyable throughout the first half of the stick. I won't split the review into thirds because there was little transition. The core notes of wood and rose remained steady. A salt and pepper ash that held well and I knocked off in neat 1" chunks. Nicotine strength did become determinable towards the end of the smoke and the draw loosened slightly as time went by. I set this down after 45min smoking time and a fully depleted pint. Thoroughly enjoyable throughout! I would liken the taste experience to sitting around a campfire on a cold day eating turkish delight! 7
