El Presidente Posted November 8, 2022 Posted November 8, 2022 Pick two from the poll. The question....The two cigar sizes you like "the least" Now all sizes are not given and that is for a reason We have enough for the exercise. 2
Popular Post HarveyBoulevard Posted November 8, 2022 Popular Post Posted November 8, 2022 I’ve always been told it’s more how you use it than the size of it but I picked panatela and half corona or below. 2 5
Popular Post Fuzz Posted November 8, 2022 Popular Post Posted November 8, 2022 Surprised there is so much hate for the half corona, I love them. Great to start a session if everyone hasn't turned up to the party yet. Fantastic as a mid session break from the larger format cigars. And perfect for the last cigar of the night, when you still want a cigar, but know you have to leave soon... because @JohnS is falling asleep. 4 3
Chas.Alpha Posted November 8, 2022 Posted November 8, 2022 Love the half corona size. I suppose that something could be said for the petit Monte #2, but I don't get that one. 2

I will tie it into our own sales figures as well as anecdotal industry feedback.
BoliDan Posted November 8, 2022 Posted November 8, 2022 This is going to upset the size doesn't matter crowd
Lomey Posted November 8, 2022 Posted November 8, 2022 I miss read and picked petite corona. That is actually my favorite size. My bad! 2
Lamboinee Posted November 8, 2022 Posted November 8, 2022 This was an interesting question. There are one or two cigars that I really enjoy amongst the two vitolas that I voted as my least overall favorites.
dominattorney Posted November 8, 2022 Posted November 8, 2022 Double Edmundo or robusto extra for me. Do love the half corona size for end of the night "parting glass"/"stirrup cup" smoke. My wife keeps falling for the old saw of "it'll only take 10 minutes." Yea. Ten minutes for you to pass out. Then everyone else gets to carry on the party until 3 am. 1
RDB Posted November 8, 2022 Posted November 8, 2022 I reckon among this crowd, if we had a specific Montesco option it would comfortably win. Robusto Extra / Double includes some very formats and cigars I really like, such as La Fuerza or HU Mag 50. Does La Trova count?! Oh dear. 1

Folks need to work a little harder. 1
cnov Posted November 8, 2022 Posted November 8, 2022 I couldn't choose two, my brain couldn't do it, I got stuck in a loop of 'I suppose it would be half corona or smaller or maybe the panatella, but I really like examples of both'. Montesco would have been a sitter.
shokao Posted November 8, 2022 Posted November 8, 2022 I don't enjoy as much smaller formats like half corona. Also avoid thinner formats like Panetelas.
Yardley Posted November 8, 2022 Posted November 8, 2022 It’s not that a DISlike a double corona, they’re just usually impractical for my life right now. 2+ hours at home to myself… some day.
Puros Y Vino Posted November 8, 2022 Posted November 8, 2022 Love the HC. My votes were for the PC. As it falls in the category of "not enough cigar and too much of a cigar" to enjoy on a cold day. I typically don't reach for smaller smokes during the warmer seasons. Reaching for a PC is like admitting defeat. They do make for good chasers or a starting cigar if you know you're going to binge smoke that day.
shokao Posted November 8, 2022 Posted November 8, 2022 I think PC or Petit Edmundo is great if you don't have much time to spare but you still want full flavour. Petit Edmundo is my go to format since I need to take care of my son from time to time and so I don't have to commit much to it. It lasts somewhere between 40 to 50 minutes.
Ford2112 Posted November 8, 2022 Posted November 8, 2022 I only voted petit robusto. I hate the size. My second least favorite would be anything over 50 RG. What's the point of it?

I think the CG would have been the #1 pick back in the Stone Age. I wonder if people like thicker cigars or do they like the cigar that happens to be thicker? By not getting votes they are getting love. This is a poll for least favorite sizes.

Perhaps geographic location/weather have a huge effect on preference. I'm way south of you in Myrtle beach, South Carolina so cold weather not a factor with cigar size. I'm a huge fan of petit corona/Mareva as the 42 ring is ideal along with the 60 minute smoking duration. From my viewpoint I think the Upmann half corona size is pointless. By the time you get past the "foreplay" stage and into the "physical lovemaking" the party ends abruptly! C'mon man!😨 5
TMan1 Posted November 8, 2022 Posted November 8, 2022 Definitely the panetela! I tried the thinner vitola phase and it didn't work for me mostly. I liked them when fishing/flyfishing because I don't fish with a cigar in mouth (short break), but could never get into smoking one just to smoke it. .
