El Presidente Posted October 6, 2022 Posted October 6, 2022 Your best cigar experience of September 2022/Last 30 days? I would have to say it was the 2002 Saint Luis Rey Petit Corona gifted to us by Steven. Both Ken and I thoroughly enjoyed in the video review. What was your best cigar experience of Sep 2022/Last 30 days? 2
Popular Post Blakes Posted October 6, 2022 Popular Post Posted October 6, 2022 Not the best, but certainly worth mentioning because of the shock factor... A Guantanamera Cristales - Only the second one I've ever smoked. I'm not kidding it tasted like an aged premium, reminded me so much of old LGC's. Not at all what I was expecting but I certainly enjoyed it!! 🤯 10 1
Popular Post Chas.Alpha Posted October 7, 2022 Popular Post Posted October 7, 2022 Mine was not a particular cigar, but rather a new bunch of mates that I'm smoking them with. Apex Cigar Lounge, Raleigh North Carolina. Good mix, nothing left, right or center. Just there to burn a good smoke and have great conversations. I would never walk into a man's establishment and burn one of mine, so the proprietor and I have an agreement: I'll buy a stick of equal or greater value than what I've brought (He has an excellent well- stocked walk in Humi) and he doesn't ask what I am smoking as long as I remove the band. Bands are an affectation anyways. Very happy so far, but Debbie wants me to hire a climbing Sherpa to help her down the driveway to get the mail!!! It is definitely different. People here are friendly... 🤔 15
Popular Post hrs1 Posted October 7, 2022 Popular Post Posted October 7, 2022 Bunch of great smokes this month - HdM DC, HUSW, PSD4, Monte 2 and QDOCC were all standouts. But, it's tough to beat an Esplendido (MAR MAR 21) on a perfect day during the last long weekend of the summer while hanging with your good friends & family. 15
Popular Post LLC Posted October 7, 2022 Popular Post Posted October 7, 2022 Could not choose between these two. September 11th had a custom 1966 from Hamlet. It beat out a 2011 CORO I had the same day. Then, last Friday the 30th a LAR SEP 12 Monty 520. Wow, what a cigar. 12
Popular Post JohnS Posted October 7, 2022 Popular Post Posted October 7, 2022 Difficult to split a BRE Sep 17 Partagas Serie P No.2 from a Multi-Selection Piramides box and an Oliva Serie V Melanio Churchill... 16
Popular Post Chucko8 Posted October 7, 2022 Popular Post Posted October 7, 2022 Keeping in theme with todays deep dive. CCE from 2016 was my top of the list this month 9
Popular Post shokao Posted October 7, 2022 Popular Post Posted October 7, 2022 First time smoking El Rey Del Mundo Regional Exclusive - is this case, Brazil - and love it. 9
Popular Post Adisaputra Posted October 7, 2022 Popular Post Posted October 7, 2022 Without a doubt, a Monte 4 from Compay 95 Anniversario Humidor. Possibly even the best this year 8

Just ordered a 5er of the Churchill to sample. My fave Oliva so far and by far is the Serie V Lancero. Not many NC'S are box worthy for my palate but I really like these. 1
Popular Post Puros Y Vino Posted October 7, 2022 Popular Post Posted October 7, 2022 My whole trip to Italy was a great "cigar experience" overall. I will pick one though. And that is my first LESF overlooking the Collosseum. I had just arrived in Rome, checked into my hotel and went for a walk. I sat in a small parkette and just relaxed with the cigar and took in the sights. 14
Popular Post LizardGizmo Posted October 7, 2022 Popular Post Posted October 7, 2022 This Lusi out of an OER ABR 20 50 Cab. Just one of those magical Lusis with perfect draw, combustion, flavor, everything. Back in the garage as it's getting chilly at night - got a mounted heater in the garage now too. I never want to leave! 10
Popular Post targa88 Posted October 7, 2022 Popular Post Posted October 7, 2022 Biggest, unexpected surprise - Oliva Serie V Lancero. Have been out of the NC scene for a very long time - picked one up on a recommendation. Absolutely excellent construction (not always evident with lancero vitola), smooth draw. Dark (maduro) oily wrapper, nice chocolate, cedar, coffee profile. Definite repeat required 11
Popular Post Ites Posted October 7, 2022 Popular Post Posted October 7, 2022 September is usually the start of the end of my smoking season. Autumn/fall is coming in fast which usually brings more wind and rain with it, not to mention a rapid decrease in temperature. So my sample size is only two cigars for the month, and both were winners but I'll play by the book and name one. It was the N3 2021 maduro pictured below. 10
Popular Post Fugu Posted October 7, 2022 Popular Post Posted October 7, 2022 A few standouts, while smoking a lot of C&C currently. But let me just say I haven’t had a single dud in the last 30 days. 5
Popular Post Lfhard Posted October 8, 2022 Popular Post Posted October 8, 2022 Mine has to be this Cohiba Siglo III LAT OCT 17. You know sometimes you can’t blame them for raising the prices when they taste like this one did. 8
Popular Post joeypots Posted October 8, 2022 Popular Post Posted October 8, 2022 Monte Cristo Double Edmundo, ROM DIC 16. This box of cigars, touted by a certain merchant as being from a very good batch, are outrageously good. One of the joys/frustrations of Cuban cigars is the fact that regular production can be very good and special cigars can disappoint.imho, of course. 5 stars 5
Popular Post Sir Diggamus Posted October 8, 2022 Popular Post Posted October 8, 2022 Monte Edmundo UGO ABR 19. I grabbed a 1/4 box of these a couple of years ago and enjoyed a few before this one. I smoked it during a Zoom meet with several of you a few weeks ago. The cigar had this interesting perfume/sweet musk note that was very enjoyable and don't usually associate with a Monte. It was a cigar that kept forcing me to pause a moment to try and pick apart the flavors. The cigar didn't have an overly cocoa/chocolate dominance in the profile, like so many other Montes. It had more of cream note and that sweet musk that kept surprising me, with a cocoa undertone. I hope the couple more I have smoke just like that one. It was beautiful. 6
PuroDiario Posted October 8, 2022 Posted October 8, 2022 2019 NOV TLE Coro. But was in awe with the Davidoff Royal Release robusto I smoked followed couple days later by a FF Opus X Reserva de Chateau Churchill. Both gifted by a generous friend, and they were incredibly good. Too pricey, all of these examples but all incredible. On a more normal note, I continue to smoke with massive joy the few Epi2 I have left from a 50cab TLE ENE 2020 4
Popular Post BeerPimp Posted October 9, 2022 Popular Post Posted October 9, 2022 2019 RyJ Churchill two weeks ago. It was amazing I have not had a Churchill in forever it was beautiful weather to boot. It burned amazing razor sharp burn. 9

Popular Post gustavehenne Posted October 9, 2022 Popular Post Posted October 9, 2022 The shimmering Hoyo DC easily - fantastic smoke @El Presidente when are you back in London? I've got a box of SLR Petit Coronas 03 and happy to give up a few sticks for a compare/contrast 8
