El Presidente Posted August 1, 2022 Posted August 1, 2022 Your best cigar experience of July 2022? What blew you away.? What can you still taste when you close your eyes? Of all the cigars you smoked last month, what was the cigar experience that has stayed with you?
Popular Post Chibearsv Posted August 1, 2022 Popular Post Posted August 1, 2022 Cracked open a 2021 box of Punch DC - smoked 4 of them in July (there's one less after this past weekend) - every one has been exceptional! 18
Popular Post Tdm_86 Posted August 1, 2022 Popular Post Posted August 1, 2022 This month it was this Siglo IV LGR AGO 17. One that I coincidentally reviewed as well. 9
Popular Post Ford2112 Posted August 1, 2022 Popular Post Posted August 1, 2022 I had a BBF that knocked my socks off. 7
Popular Post KCCubano Posted August 1, 2022 Popular Post Posted August 1, 2022 Had a Padron 1964 Corona I bought as a single at least two yrs ago. My favorite Padron and NC 7
Popular Post hrs1 Posted August 1, 2022 Popular Post Posted August 1, 2022 A Bunch of exceptional smokes this month. Punch Punch, Magnum 50, Sir Winston, Siglo IV & V were standouts. But, this Fundadores (TLU MAY 21) on the 4th of July was a firecracker. Tea, nuts, coffee, cookie dough, honey and all things yummy 😋 12
Popular Post westg Posted August 1, 2022 Popular Post Posted August 1, 2022 A gorgeous 2008 Hoyo DC only a few left. 10

Popular Post JohnS Posted August 1, 2022 Popular Post Posted August 1, 2022 Yes, I was blown away by a Arturo Fuente Hemingway Classic. I'd concede it was one-dimensional but I can't get over how sweet and mild it was in comparison to other Non-Cubans I've sampled over the years. I was very impressed by this cigar. The late-2016 Cohiba Siglo I and early-2017 La Gloria Cubana Medaille d'Or No.4 were both superlative cigars during July and enjoyed with friends (which made them better, of course). Difficult to split these three as I'm thinking about them right now as I type! 14
Popular Post gustavehenne Posted August 1, 2022 Popular Post Posted August 1, 2022 Two cigars stand out for me... The most amazing stick I had was the Padron Family Reserve 45 which was packed full of flavour and made me dream about it Close second was a Bolivar Gold Medal from 07 - no bite to it at all, very smooth and earthy. Sublime. 14
Popular Post LLC Posted August 2, 2022 Popular Post Posted August 2, 2022 Lots of great cigars in July but if I had to pick one, it would be the EMA ABR 08 Dip 4. 11
Popular Post yadegari6 Posted August 2, 2022 Popular Post Posted August 2, 2022 Cigar of July and also 2022 so far, RA estupendos 10

Popular Post PuroDiario Posted August 2, 2022 Popular Post Posted August 2, 2022 2012 Partagás Salomones smooth, cream, mild spices, understated leather and coffee. Absolutely delightful. 12
Popular Post Capn_Jackson Posted August 2, 2022 Popular Post Posted August 2, 2022 My 40th birthday was the end of June, and in early July we spent a few days at a lake house with friends. They had pooled together for a gift and surprised me with a fantastic box of smokes. Juan Lopez 1 from 2018. They are decidedly smoother and more rounded than the 2021 box I already had, which can now happily lay down to rest for awhile. On the same trip, had a fantastic BBF on a kayak. 10
Popular Post RDB Posted August 2, 2022 Popular Post Posted August 2, 2022 I’m afraid it was an Esplendido, but this glorious TPL JUN 21 D4 ran it close: 8
Popular Post Edicion Posted August 2, 2022 Popular Post Posted August 2, 2022 This Partagas Maduro was excellent. Sometimes I even forget about this Maduro line. Not a single hard edge and full flavor with a medium body. 8
Popular Post mbrody Posted August 2, 2022 Popular Post Posted August 2, 2022 Kept looking at this and saying, damn this pc looks long. Then I realized I grabbed one of my last Boli CE. Bolivar. flavor. explosion. 5
Popular Post ChicagoRob Posted August 2, 2022 Popular Post Posted August 2, 2022 This 2013 Upmann no 2 was my smoke of July. Unknown month and factory code. It was totally smooth and all I tasted was cream, biscuit and a little milk chocolate. It was absolutely superb and a memory that legends are made of. 7
Popular Post joeypots Posted August 2, 2022 Popular Post Posted August 2, 2022 This is a repost from early July. The cigar was great for a # of reasons not the least being it was a gift from a man I respected who passed too soon. This wasn’t the best cigar in a month, it was one of the best ever. "At a meeting of cigar enthusiasts in Boston about ten years ago I traded cigars with a terrific guy, Van, from Virginia. My end of the trade was a Sir Winston and, once home, I stuck it in a tube and put it in my humidor. I marked the cigar From Van 2010, SW 2005. On Sunday I pulled this baby out and fired it up: damn the price hikes, I’m smoking my stash of cigars. FOH cigar champion? Let’s see just how good the Winston is. The first thing I noticed was the size. I haven’t smoked a churchill in a long while and I've forgotten that the Julieta No.2 is one of the best vitolas, IMHO. This SW was epic. About two hours of pure Cuban cigar bliss. I’m not great at identifying cigar flavors so I can’t say much more than I knew this was a great cigar right away and I savored every inch of it. Perfectly constructed, it drew with just the right amount of resistance and burned to the end without a single touch up. What’s the best cigar? Who knows, but if you are lucky enough to have some Winstons a little benign neglect won’t hurt them and my recent experience tells me the Sir Winston is a five star smoke all day long." 6
grabow32 Posted August 2, 2022 Posted August 2, 2022 Ramon Allones Edicion Limitada 2019. I smoked one of these in the lounge at LCDH Tijuana. It was a wonderful flavor bomb of a cigar. I liked it so much I bought 2x more to take home with me. 2
