I want that blend in ............. 

My best cigar of the weekend was a Partagas Serie D Number 6.  This is the most petit of petit robusto being 90mm long and a 50 gauge. 

IMHO.....It is a far superior cigar to the D4 if you love full flavoured cigars. 

All I kept thinking was that this needs to be a Robusto.   "D4 Fuerte"   Hell this is the exact blend that I would love in a Double Robusto! 

D6 in a Hamgnum 50 frame. Brilliant!

 

Here is an exercise for you. 

Staying within a +/- 3 ring gauge setting.......what cigar blend would you take and put into a different frame 

For instance....if you love an Epicure 1, for the sake of the exercise you could put that blend in a  43 to a 49 frame.

I'm shocked they haven't put a D3/D2/D1 into production yet and I would love them to be the D6 blend. I agree--I've always felt it was the richest of the Serie line but the vitola blows. 

I'd also love to see some Serie C line 48 RG Hermosos. 

Lots of potential in the Serie line. 

As far as other "blend transplants" there are plenty. El Principe in a Lonsdale, MdO4 in a Laguito, RG Perlas in a Corona Gorda,

I’d like a Rafael Gonzalez Perla in a Corona Gorda size, and a Monte 2 in a Robusto size.

If it wasn’t for the ridunculous +/- 3rg restriction, I’d like a D4 blend in a Laguito no.2 size. (See what I did there?)

Funny I just had a few cigars over the weekend and a D6 was a standout winner. Only issue is they are just too short. I'd take one in robusto any day of the week, Id say I "prefer" their boldness over the D4 as well

Punch 898 in a plpc frame. I would send Diana ONE email daily. It would say SAME! I would buy no other Marcas. I might stop buying at 20 boxes. Might. But I doubt it. 😂
