Popular Post El Presidente Posted August 31, 2021 Popular Post Posted August 31, 2021 Your best cigar experience of August 2021? Personally, that was one tough mother ducker of a month On the cigar side however I rediscovered SLR Regio (20/21). i have been smoking out of two boxes and have been on a magic run. If a geenie gave me a perfect box of cigars that refilled .......these could have been that box. That good. Peanut butter, coffee liqueur, cake. The best Regio's that I have ever had. My cigar of August 2021 9
Popular Post Shrimpchips Posted August 31, 2021 Popular Post Posted August 31, 2021 A humble Party Short, after finally having dinner with my folks and in laws for the first time in 20 months. Them getting to see their one year old grandson for the first time was really something. 13
Popular Post JohnS Posted August 31, 2021 Popular Post Posted August 31, 2021 EOS Jul 2019 H.Upmann Sir Winston. It was like smoking a sweet, slightly-caramel, creamy cappuccino over two hours! 23
Popular Post Chucko8 Posted August 31, 2021 Popular Post Posted August 31, 2021 SLR DC from 08 was the best of the bunch from August for me. 9
Popular Post Meklown Posted August 31, 2021 Popular Post Posted August 31, 2021 First try of the Mag 56 from the jar. Reminded me of a sir Winston though I actually haven't had one in a while 19
Popular Post dshot Posted August 31, 2021 Popular Post Posted August 31, 2021 Mine was a Sir Winston from 2019. To lazy to go look at the box code, got it here awhile ago. Great stick the whole box is a 10 out of 10. Nubbed it, I didn't want it to stop. As always had a nice interplay of stone fruit and wood through the whole thing. No one was home but me and my dog, it was nice and quite. It was perfect and I needed it after finding out where having another child for sure a few days before. I still stand firm that my whole humidor could be this cigar and I'd have no problem just smoking this cigar. I actually called my relative and asked to make sure if I died before you please make sure to take one out of my collection and place it in my coffin. That's how much I love this cigar. 18
Popular Post gustavehenne Posted August 31, 2021 Popular Post Posted August 31, 2021 The box of Cohiba Robustos that I procured from 24:24 (Spanish stock from 2016 if I'm not mistaken). It's got a huge health warning label on the bottom so can't get to the code right now. These are probably the most delicious cigars I've ever tried - they are so well integrated, smooth and have amazing Cohiba flavours. I've parked all my other Cohiba stock to age for a while and will tuck into this. Just pure class. (the slightly wonky burn is because I took it out with me on a late night dog walk!) 14
Popular Post Meesterjojo Posted August 31, 2021 Popular Post Posted August 31, 2021 Trinidad Coloniales. Just had another this morning at the start of my vacation. They've been so consistently good to me. This mornings smoke was emotional, probably for just being free for the moment. Runner up would be the PL Montecarlo. I can finally sense sweetness in them. The novelty of being able to taste and smell something outweighs whether it's a smell or taste I'd enjoy otherwise. 10
Popular Post Jonboy4074 Posted August 31, 2021 Popular Post Posted August 31, 2021 '09 Choix Supreme. Picked it out for a change of pace and blew my socks off. 13
Popular Post smbauerllc Posted August 31, 2021 Popular Post Posted August 31, 2021 Tough call. Had my first Fundadores and love them, same with Cohiba Coronas Especiales. Also had a LGC Paises Bajos ER and absolutely loved it. If I had to choose I would say that one was my best of 2021 entirely, let alone best of August. 7
Popular Post KCCubano Posted August 31, 2021 Popular Post Posted August 31, 2021 BPC. I forgot the year or date as was purchased as quarter box. Rich, complex and medium full. Assume it was 20/21. Perfect construction as well. 7
Popular Post Tstew75 Posted August 31, 2021 Popular Post Posted August 31, 2021 MUR 12 LGC Immensos w/ my 1st fantasy FFB draft of the season. Both were terrific 6
Popular Post Bri Fi Posted August 31, 2021 Popular Post Posted August 31, 2021 Siglo II SEP 17. Half the box gone and this was the first that blew me away. Really reinforced cohiba pre 2019 needs time down. @dshot congrats on the kid. I’m sure it’s bittersweet restarting again but that first smile they give you makes it all worth it. On a positive note, all your SW will get plenty of age since you won’t have time for them. Sorry, that was mean. 6 4

That is true been stocking up on shorter smokes and smoking my longer ones before the new addition comes home. We still got some time though due date is Feb 2022. It will be interesting to see how our son steps up to his new role in the house. No more single child time haha! It's probably for the best all the single kids I know are a bunch of a-holes. 1
Popular Post coug28 Posted August 31, 2021 Popular Post Posted August 31, 2021 Hopping on the Sir Winston train. And it wasn’t that close. Graham crackers is the flavor that sticks with me from this one…somewhere, someone here just won an auction lot with this same code. May they all smoke as well, if not better for you, than this one. If so, you sir, got a bargain. 14
Popular Post Bigpink Posted August 31, 2021 Popular Post Posted August 31, 2021 Upmann half corona. Desert island cigar. 11
Popular Post LLC Posted August 31, 2021 Popular Post Posted August 31, 2021 TOU OCT 12 Partagas 898. Simply outstanding. 16
Popular Post Grateful13 Posted August 31, 2021 Popular Post Posted August 31, 2021 A 2013 PLPC. Was more mild than most from the box, but still pretty tasty even if one dimensional. 5
Popular Post Chibearsv Posted September 1, 2021 Popular Post Posted September 1, 2021 A few standout cigars this month but the surprise for me was a visit with the 2019 Talisman. I wasn’t impressed with the first one I had a year and a half ago but the one I tried at the beginning of the month was outstanding. Behike-like in its flavor and complexity. Just bought 2 more boxes at a decent price hoping it wasn’t a fluke. 18 hours ago, Chucko8 said: SLR DC from 08 was the best of the bunch from August for me. I’m half way through a 2007 SLRDC right now. It almost took the prize for August. A great cigar for sure. 6
Popular Post WLC Posted September 1, 2021 Popular Post Posted September 1, 2021 A "sig 6" sized custom roll from a member here. Was amazing. Has about 2 or 3 years on it and was quite tasty 5

Popular Post RichG Posted September 1, 2021 Popular Post Posted September 1, 2021 Romeo y Julieta Churchill TPL Jun 20. Truly incredible smoke. 8
Popular Post mbrody Posted September 1, 2021 Popular Post Posted September 1, 2021 2008 Sir Winston - hands down I forgot about this box and was thinking nothing of it. Close to a 100 point cigar as I can imagine. What was thrilling, was not only the Kaleidescape of flavors, but the cigar had balls. 9
Popular Post joeypots Posted September 1, 2021 Popular Post Posted September 1, 2021 Toss up. I have five stars for Siglo IV MUL NOV 14 and Punch Punch RAE DIC 14. It's been unbearably hazy, hot, and humid here this summer so I've had to work to keep my cigars from getting too moist for my tastes. 8
Popular Post Spaceman Spiff Posted September 1, 2021 Popular Post Posted September 1, 2021 Believe it or not, for me it was a 2020 R&J Romeo No. 2. I had a 3 pack of tubos tossed in to a purchase from last spring and I was pleasantly surprised. See, my experience with affordable R&Js haven't been great up until then but holy Toledo did it impress me! A bit if pepper to start that transformed in to that iconic R&J spice with notes of exotic wood and rose water throughout. I definitely smoked pricier cigars last month but that was the one that left the biggest impression on me. 6
