In good memory of Nino, we had a picnic. Chilled the champagne, packed the cigars and off we went. 
From this spot you can look out over the Rhine where Nino lived. 
Nino was never into bands and often said: what do I know about cigars. What I do know is that Ramon Allones was his favourite brand and his favourite format was Prominente & Salomones. So he often enjoyed a Lusitanas and/or a Salomones when we were together. 
For me, his f**k off took on a new dimension. I will miss those 2 words and his accompanying hand gesture very much.

I bought this box simply because I knew the cigar was going to be discontinued. I had a cab of BCG a long time ago and I was initially disappointed with the sticks. That changed after the cigars rested and acclimated to a lower RH. The last few were outrageously good. I know I once passed on a 50 cab of these over $25.  Anyway, yesterday was the day when I realized I’ll never flip this box. So it was Sunday afternoon, a little football, and a 2015 Bolivar Coronas Gigantes. Put it like this, I’m not flipping this box. Compared to some of the double banded  special stuff? No contest. As they say, “If you got them, smoke them."

As I will be turning 55 in less than 2 months, I had this crazy idea of smoking Cubans with ring gauges between 54-55. Quickly put this up and realized I have 30 sticks.

I am thinking about digging through my stock and see if I can find 25 more. Once that’s completed, I shall begin smoking these 55 cigars until my 55th birthday.😂

I love it! You madman. May I suggest a bit of a "twist" to this campaign? Each cigar, no matter, the size. MUST be smoked to the nub in 55 minutes!!!! 😁

How does the Punch Sir David stack up against the Punch DC? Worth the extra moula if you don't mind me asking please squire? A mate of mind said he'd pick up a couple for me if he could find them in Hong Kong at the start of next year but I've heard they start around $200USD for a single.

They were available for $250/stick in LCDH Macau earlier this year. Do pick up samplers if you can. Obviously, Punch DC is in a very special class. For the current market rate, I would go for Punch DC all day, dress box or cabinet if you can find it. Hope that helps. 😉

I've got plenty of Punch DC so it's mass curiosity that's got me interested in the Sir David, but I get what you're getting at.
