El Presidente Posted December 22, 2019 Posted December 22, 2019 How organised are FOH members ? I was telling Di that I would bet my right gonad that 85% of FOH members have all of their christmas gifts done by now. I based that on the OCD nature of the demographic Di reckons that i am dreaming....the vast majority being mere males. 1 2
BuzzArd Posted December 22, 2019 Posted December 22, 2019 I’m pretty up on it. I made gifts for several folks this year. and made my wife buy the others. ?
inter4alia Posted December 22, 2019 Posted December 22, 2019 I always have something last minute to buy on Christmas eve. Just one of my "traditions."
westg Posted December 22, 2019 Posted December 22, 2019 Di is right on both counts. Merry Christmas Di. No doubt Rob is spoiling you like crazy. ? 1
IanMcLean68 Posted December 22, 2019 Posted December 22, 2019 No I haven't. But I work best under pressure. Thats my excuse, and I'm sticking to it.

Phillys Posted December 22, 2019 Posted December 22, 2019 Only 1 left to buy, I have to go out for that one. The rest were all bought online in November.
madandana Posted December 23, 2019 Posted December 23, 2019 I just have to pick up Dana a couple bottles of Chambers. Rob you still have shopping or at least shipping to do yet because I have seen mine yet.? 1 2
stogieluver Posted December 23, 2019 Posted December 23, 2019 Damn, El Pres. Pretty bold to go that high on the percentage. Are your going to be okay walking around with one gonad? That's gonna hurt. FOHer's need to get off their ass and vote "yes" to save Rob's right testicle. 1
mrmessy Posted December 23, 2019 Posted December 23, 2019 All done! In fairness, my list was much smaller than my wife's. Sent from my SM-N950U using Tapatalk
Fuzz Posted December 23, 2019 Posted December 23, 2019 I was finished shopping 4 days ago. Most of my purchases were done online (kids toys). Technically, I have one gift left to buy, but my old man asked me to wait for the boxing day sales to buy his new shows. Otherwise, I would have bought them a week ago.

LLC Posted December 23, 2019 Posted December 23, 2019 All done. That is unless I see something else I “need” Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
grizzlee Posted December 23, 2019 Posted December 23, 2019 Never bet a body part you're not willing to part with.....
David88 Posted December 23, 2019 Posted December 23, 2019 Mine’s all done. Thank goodness for online shopping, I think if I had to go out to get things I would have put it off though
BoliDan Posted December 23, 2019 Posted December 23, 2019 I was done back in October, except for stocking stuffer candy.
Rupe Posted December 23, 2019 Posted December 23, 2019 I picked up 2 gift cards yesterday to finish things off. Most of our shopping was done a couple weeks ago with the exception of a couple of stocking stuffers and the aforementioned gift cards. We went to the grocery store and liquor store today to pick up the necessary "supplies" and then did some prep work for our Christmas dinner this afternoon. Aside from a little bit of tidying around the house and some final meal preparation we are all set!
benfica_77 Posted December 23, 2019 Posted December 23, 2019 All done and have been for some time. I don't step foot in a mall during december I can't stand it. I either go in november or I order oniline. Your right nut is safe with me prez haha
Islandboy Posted December 23, 2019 Posted December 23, 2019 I was done a week ago, from the comfort of my Lazyboy. Not real proud of the effort, so it’s our little secret, OK?
nKostyan Posted December 23, 2019 Posted December 23, 2019 Recently, I buy gifts during the year "in reserve". This is not only the new year, often my children are unexpectedly invited by classmates for a birthday and the stock helps out. I bought all the Christmas gifts in advance. I do not like new year's hasty shopping and bustle, traffic jams, overloaded postal services and couriers on their last legs. But the daughter beat out from me self-confidence, she showed the letter to “Father frost” (russian Santa) with the requirement of concrete gifts... about 15 pcs... I realized I still hadn't bought anything
Ryan Posted December 23, 2019 Posted December 23, 2019 I thought I was all done in November. Then saw something last week I had to get for the wife. Tickets to Carmen in March. Looking forward to that myself. On Friday I realised I had to get presents "from my kids" to their secret Santa recipients. I hate shopping centres/malls at this time of year so into town we went on Friday evening. Dublin is great at this time of year. Grafton Street has the greatest collection of drunk carollers in world on the week before Christmas. Kids have a hot chocolate, I have a hot whiskey. Buy a present. Kids have an ice-cream, I have a pint of Guinness. Another present. And so on.. Great fun. I came home to a hamper of Spanish condiments and a bottle of 10 year old Ferncullen whiskey signed by the distiller that had been dropped in for me. Not too bad so far! 1
FireMedic Posted December 23, 2019 Posted December 23, 2019 Only voted no because the last is being delivered today, so truly just in the middle somewhere
Chibearsv Posted December 23, 2019 Posted December 23, 2019 My wife definitely does the heavy lifting on gift buying for our family so we are done! When I took that responsibility on myself, I'd be nearly finished by 10:00 pm Christmas Eve.
