earthson Posted February 19, 2015 Posted February 19, 2015 I had a NC Macanudo Hampton Court a few months ago with a 36 ring gauge...so harsh and so small. It may be a while until I have a sub-40 ring gauge cigar. Don't reckon it was the ring gauge that made that one crappy... Try a Monte Esp #1 or 2 or a PL Montecarlo before discounting skinnies 1
ag794516 Posted February 19, 2015 Posted February 19, 2015 Actually voted for never. But I want to try some.
torm3nt Posted February 19, 2015 Posted February 19, 2015 I honestly find even 40 RG a bit too small. 44 and up for me - with 50 being my favourite (robustos et. al)
foreese Posted February 19, 2015 Posted February 19, 2015 PL Montecarlo this morning with coffee, Fantastic!
Scroats Posted February 20, 2015 Posted February 20, 2015 Do cigarillos count? I am a fan of a well built Lancero. 1
JohnS Posted February 20, 2015 Posted February 20, 2015 Don't reckon it was the ring gauge that made that one crappy... Definitely...I'm in agreement. It was a bad experience overall.
Optic101 Posted February 20, 2015 Posted February 20, 2015 Within my frequent rotation, a Du Gourmet today. 1
fokker4me Posted February 20, 2015 Posted February 20, 2015 I reguraly enjoy panatellas pretty regularly. Lanceros are also a norm for me even at one ring gauge up in size.
ksblazer Posted February 20, 2015 Posted February 20, 2015 Had a 2012 Monte Especial just the other day Appreciate the thinner ring guages more and more in my progression as a cigar smoker
Lotusguy Posted February 22, 2015 Posted February 22, 2015 ERDM Demi Tasse as last smoke of the night last night.
KJND Posted February 22, 2015 Posted February 22, 2015 Montecarlo, Monte Esp 2 and Fundy this week for long and skinnies. All three were fantastic! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
saintsmokealot Posted February 22, 2015 Posted February 22, 2015 Lanceros are part of my regular rotation and next time Monte Especiales come up those will be too.
LeafLover Posted February 23, 2015 Posted February 23, 2015 Tonight. A Cain Lancero. Sooo good after 3 years rest. Before that, you are wasting your money by smoking it IMO.
Monty83 Posted February 23, 2015 Posted February 23, 2015 Last week I had a CoLa from 00' gifted to me by fellow botl Mckucci and it was a real treat. I don't shy away from the smaller RG so they are normally in my rotation. Next up will be a Monte Especial from 06'.
jedipastor Posted February 23, 2015 Posted February 23, 2015 I had a du Gormet recently, and lots of NC lanceros.
