Thought that I would start this off for the new year. Good to see what people's favorite or current libation is. Tonight, The Balvenie Portwood 21...

I'm feeling better today,  Not as dark, tense, and angry as I have been the past several days. Today was better. Chores around the house, building a new humidor, repaired a door frame, and just being

Padilla Studio Tobac Figurado and the last of the Rock Hill Farms bourbon.b9d91f20cdd7f7a5b603987c0c4159c2.jpg

Highly under rated Bourbon. Cherish my handful of bottles!

This thing just slaps you across the face. No water added and let it sit for a bit. Opened up nicely over the course of drinking it. Tons of fruity flavors on this guy with a touch of spice and chocolate. Lots going on with this one. Great stuff 947e703e09a20b5afb160606cabd602a.jpg

Thanks to Ken G and Rob A I've made a new acquaintance; Don Pedro Ximenez - a.k.a PX.

It is not the 1945-ish PX that Ken served Rob in one of the Youtube videos a while ago. Mine is from 1985 but it is absolutely exploding with flavors! I just ordered six bottles. :-)

It is definitely a powerful scotch. I'm just about done with my bottle and absolutely loved it. Someone told me that its discontinued- is that true?

Kilchoman 100% Islay 2nd edition. Sadly one pour left in that bottle. Kilchoman DNA, more reserved in the peat and mature beyond its years.

Lagavulin 16 in the glass now. Love it.

Buinehabbain toitach is next. Heavily peated bunny. Mmmm mmmm good
