sengjc
A custom rolled non-Cuban called the Atlantic with some Velvet Fig, a blended malt by Wemyss. Another cold and wet evening in Melbourne but not cold nor wet enough to keep me from enjoying a good smoke and drink.

RWhiz
Monkey Shoulder. Can't find a better whisky for the price. Of course I love Balvenie, and Glenfiddich which are two of the three whiskys in the blend.
sengjc
A small nip of Springbank CV with a robusto. Had a rather full and late lunch today so I am thinking of skipping dinner and starting early. The neighbour's moggy is giving me the "WTF?!" look.
shark
Last night I had a few Lagunitas Pils beers. A very good change of pace from my usual IPA style beer.

JohnS
Glenfiddich 12 Year Old A B&B Cocktail to 'warm the bones'! (Brandy & Benedictine in equal parts - in this case, Remy Martin VSOP Cognac and Dom Benedictine liqueur, perfect for cold weather!)

TM-US
Another serious whisky night last week: Some Lost Spirits Ouroboros, a peated, sherried single malt from California. Then an old fashioned made with Abraham Bowman 147.25 proof. This was STRONG stuff: Then some Elijah Craig 20 yr. And finally some single cask Glendronach to end the night. The PX casked Glendronach is excellent. Sent from my SM-G920V using Tapatalk
Popular Post sengjc
Long day at work with a good outcome and settling down for a late dinner. No time for a stogie tonight but poured a measure of Redbreast 12 Year Old from a fresh bottle. Celebrating the small victories.

Mr.T
Loved it but seems impossible to find in Cali now. Fantastic value for money. Yeah, it is getting much harder to find up in my neck of the woods so I was surprised to see a few on the shelf of a local liquor boutique place I frequent from time to time to see what they have. May have to go back soon to stock up...

sengjc
Settling down to a well aged Alec Bradley Tempus Magistri from the early production batches back in 2009/2010 and a slosh of Antiquary 21 Year Old Blended Scotch. A "meaty" and complex profile with a salty edge which works well with the gently sweet and rich whisky. A rather wet but temperate winter evening.
sengjc
San Lotano with some Ardbeg 10 Year Old after dinner. A robust smoke demands a robust drink. Well matched.
