fokker4me Posted October 2, 2015 Share Posted October 2, 2015 How were they? I thought the Glendronach was outstanding, I also had a 1995 19 year that was good but not on par with this gem. The ardbeg was good and better then the 2014, but I've had better Ardbeg and certainly better peat bombs for the money ice. Lagavulin 12 cask strength for $90. US. I have not been on in a while but I was fairly active until a few months ago. I do open a lot of stuff. That seem like such a waste to me. I have some bottles that are for special occasions and may not be opened for a while but nothing is"too good" to open. The salted caramel, cocoa and wood shavings from the cigar pair well with the sweet, winey malt.
