Partagás Serie D No.4 OPA Mar 2010 The question of shelf-life periodically comes up on our forum. Rest assured, if you keep your Habanos cigars in proper storage conditions you will reap the benefits of settling them for many, many years. Today's Partagas Serie D No.4 is a testament to that fact. At just over ten years of age I had no issue nubbing this to my fingertips. How did it differ to younger Partagas Serie D No 4's? Firstly, it wasn't toasty in any way, neither did it have strong coffee notes. Rather, it dominated in sourdough and leather. Along the way I really appreciated the mild pepper lilting in and out and the nougat, which I don't get anywhere near the same amount of in younger Partagas Serie D No.4's. Aristotle once said, “Patience is bitter, but its fruit is sweet.” How true that is!22 points

ETP May 17 MdO4 It is amazing to see how consistent this blend is / was over the years - up to the very latest batch. There's not few of us who were sorry to see Nos 1, 3 and 2 go. For me, the No. 4 had always been right up there with the best. Would be a crying shame if it wouldn't make a comeback. The fact that they didn't pursue to procure the original bands doesn't bode well....19 points

LGR AGO-17 PLMC for breakfast. Love these in the AM. LAS JUN-14. Haven't smoked one of these in exactly a year (give or take a week). The last one was fireproof, bitter and spicy. The only reason I didn't get another stick to smoke at the time was because I didn't have one readily available with me at work. I was too busy watching a private range session with Lefty and his swing coach at the back of the driving range at the tournament I was working at the time (picture with him below is from that day). Today, this one is incredible. Maple syrup, Golden Grahams and Honey Bunches of Oats cereals. Fantastic flavors, burn and draw.19 points

these tainos are from a couple of weeks ago: the rest hit today, and imagine my surprise with this box code. to be honest though, they may have been advertised as such on 24:24, but i don't remember; rafael gonzales petit corona: excited to try these reyes: and a sixer of the bolivar silver jubilee. the one i smoked from the christmas sampler was one of the best cigars i've ever had, i want to land a box, but have missed lately: -dobbs17 points
