Popular Post Ford2112 Posted September 9, 2025 Popular Post Posted September 9, 2025 Melanio has a unique flavor profile. Sometimes I get a really sweet bread and woody flavor with a lot of complexity. This one does not suck! 23
Popular Post yuppie Posted September 9, 2025 Popular Post Posted September 9, 2025 Siglo II this morning with coffee, it was really good, could have used some more age but I just can't wait forever! 26

Although it's an absolute wind tunnel I wish everyone could smell the fantastic aromas, and great tastes this smoky beauty is giving off. Like a piece of driftwood made into an incense box. Wow. I had to turn off the music I was playing so I could focus on just being outside enjoying this one. Maybe my favorite cigar of 2025. This one is my favorite to date of 2025 as well. Although luckily mine was not a wind tunnel. You really nailed the description with the “driftwood.” Would love to smoke this one blindfolded in a dark room to experience it in isolation…maybe that’s taking it too far but that’s what I thought about after reading your “having to turn off the music.” 3

Even at the nub the air was full of great smoke. 1

Popular Post Chibearsv Posted September 11, 2025 Popular Post Posted September 11, 2025 My first La Trova. Starting beautifully, I'm glad I waited. Very reminiscent of Fundi but a pop more twang in the nose. 29

Popular Post Connoisseur Kim Posted September 11, 2025 Popular Post Posted September 11, 2025 Puffed on H. Upmann No. 2 MEG MAR 16 from the CC gifts that @joejack11 and @cliff sent to me several years ago at today's herf session with @LaoFan. H. Upmann is one of my most favourite CC marcas and this classic Pyramid also doesn't disappoint me. It starts with the signature H. Upmann wood and leather bomb like Connie A and HUHC at the beginning, then transitions into cinnamon, chocolate, chestnut, Punch 8-9-8ish nut, cedar, and more flavour notes through out the end (reminds me of Keemun black tea). It didn't stay lit due to being stored at high humidity for years (I used to use Boveda 65% for cigar storage until last July), but thanks to 9 years of ageing, this Cuban Piramide not only showed its full potential but also met my expectation without being harsh or bitter that made me to smoke it to nub. Even better, spending time together with fellow FOH BOTL makes this unique aged cigar experience more special than ever! By the way, that H. Upmann No. 2 has some floral note which I've never experienced with other H. Upman cigars in the past (I guess the years of ageing played the major role). 27 1
