Oh no. I was hoping no one would ask... It was ... Ok. Didn't get any sweetness. The first inch was not nice. It settled into a rhythm. I mean. Smooth enough and interesting enough, but I'm thinking I'll try a few more before making final judgement. It's no Ninfas or Spada Gorda that's for sure!

Ninfa!  I don’t know if it’s the heat and humidity right now or the bit of rest, but this is smoking rich, funky, spicy, and burning beautifully.

Smoking a 2002 CoLa for what would have been my father's 90th birthday. Pairing it with a "Cafe Corretto" (espresso with grappa or sambuca) which he always loved.

Can’t imagine traditional Grappa tasting too good in a coffee? I could be wrong, the stuff I had in Cyprus took my breath away.

There are different grades of it. The stuff my father Frank was akin to moonshine.  It was there more for the buzz than the flavour

Juan Lopez Seleccion 1. ROTT. I’m used the the JL2 which is Jaffa Cake in flavour profile. This is much more floral. Started buttered croissant but then was getting potpourri possibly even a hint of BBQ. Sticking them away for a few months.
