Really hoping that I don’t like this so much. Got it in Italy about a month ago. Took the bands off on the way home so yes, it’s missing the LCDH band. I put bands back in for my own ID and left the other band off. Don’t know the date as this was purchased as a single. Given that boxes are often in the +/- 1k range I thought a single might be a good “getting to know ya” introduction. I typically shy away from RG this big but the reviews have been compelling. 
Not even a hint of mongrel at the start. I’ll buckle in now for a July 4th trip as I wait for the sun to go down to hear more fireworks. Will there be fireworks on my porch. Only the Connie B knows. 
 

Edit to add that even after a week of travel and a month in my Coolidor this stick was still very moist. Uneven burn and lots of relight. Taste was great but oddly one dimensional through the stick. The ambient smoke though, on this windless night, was fantastic. 
Will I buy more - well, a nice smoke but not a $40 experience for me.  A solid 90, but it struggled to hold my attention for the nearly two hours it took to smoke  really good, but not great

Back to work today after a great 4 day Canada Day Weekend. The US office was closed today (of course) so it was quite for me from that standpoint but I had a lot of catching up and a bunch of month end reports and new month planning to do so it was a very long, busy day. After a late dinner, I enjoyed this ESL OCT 18 RyJ Churchill from a tube. Very nice.

Hell of a day and the shining star was the Punch 898 RE Asia '19!! I won't do it justice describing, but Rob does a spot on job in the FOHTV episode! Lovely coat from the thick smoke on the tongue, great draw, nutty, toasty flavors to the nub, excellent burn, nothing harsh. Put the Siglo IV to shame and it was pretty good.
