Though, had my last one about two years ago. Frankly, I enjoyed it very much. As you stated, there were definitely mixed reactions to this cigar upon it’s release. Would have described it as overwhelming, unbalanced, linear, dull. The overall construction was always on point mind you. Exceptional draw and burn producing a thick abundant amount of smoke. After going through a box and a half of these over the years, I definitely noticed a significant improvement in the overall balance of the cigar. The strength is now subdued allowing for a smoother transition between flavours. Although lacking in complexity, it has evolved in a very enjoyable full bodied smoking experience. Hope this helps, my brother. 1

Not sure if the pictures do justice. All good fun if you're in a safe perch to enjoy the show. 24

Popular Post Bill Hayes Posted June 17, 2022 Popular Post Posted June 17, 2022 Just finishing up my first Monte 5 as I type. What a great flavour profile and format for chilly late afternoon smoke. Paired with a double espresso and a nice pastry stout. Albeit, I've only had one but for me it's right up there with #2 for flavour, maybe better but different experience I know. Cheers. Loved it. Now can go and enjoy a nice Rhone red and a slow cook lamb stew for dinner. Bloody terrific. 11

Popular Post ha_banos Posted June 17, 2022 Popular Post Posted June 17, 2022 A bit pale and pasty. Smooth to the touch and garnished in socks and crocks. And that's not even getting to the cigar! You lot get the best views. 19 Nudie N1. Still rich, got to dilute to retro. Looking forward to the imminent availability again. 20 4
