Bolivar Belicosos Finos (24:24 LTO JUN 20* - thanks @Bijan for the box code).

Good cigar, classic bolivar profile, but didn’t get too many nuances besides some cacao.  Likely needs more time to mature. Was hoping I could be instant BFFs with the BBF, but maybe needs a little more time to shine.

Monte 2 MSU JUL 19.

Went with 1/4 inch cut. But it became too tight after a short while. Went another 1/4 and maybe a bit too loose. Guess 3/8 inch is my goldilocks cut to aim for.

Cocoa and twang on first cut, joined by my favourite cinnamon flavour after the second cut.

Certainly not a great or complex smoke, but at about $3, its a good bargain smoke for those on a tight budget

I can relate.
Honestly haven't ever had a CC that I didn't enjoy to some extent. All the ones I have rejected just weren't good enough for the price.
Its also why I have never bought an LE or RE, very pricey and I fear they won't live up to the high price and I'm on a tight budget so don't want to be spending the extra money on something that didn't live up to the price

Yes you are right buddy. Expensive ones are easy to get disappointed.
I am a newbie, so I always want to try all kinds of cigars, from cheap ones to expensive ones, from young ones to vintage ones, to get my own framework.

Trying the new 2 at the lounge. Compared to the 1, there is less cream in the coffee and more woody. Only one stick in my sample so far so it's an unfair comparison but I prefer the 1. Not to take anything away from this stick, it still ranks comfortably as "good". An 83 in my book.

I don't have experience with NC but this stick was ok for me, usually i don't enjoy NC at all. I did not feel any Nic hit for sure. Nice well constructed NC cigar which i have enjoyed.
