I was engrossed in reading and wasn't entirely focused on the cigar. I recall a few caramel notes mixed in but not the PLPC caramel sticks of legend. Some nice coffee and woody flavors with a mild, barely sweet retro. A very enjoyable smoke.

Enjoying a beautiful SoCal evening with my wife, inspired by this week’s video review...felt like a loose draw at first, but smoked beautifully. Full and delicious...followed it up with a great go-to quickie, but full, in the du Depute.  Cheers, FOH!!!

Some fruit maybe raspberry @Kaptain Karl.

With wood and cream. But not the good quality cream but the kind of fake/ersatz cream in Fonsecas or Palmas Extra (lacked the creamy texture/mouth feel). Probably needs more aging. Was heavyweight and didn't use perfecdraw until quite late so draw was too tight. I'm going to smoke another one and let the rest sit for a while.
