Popular Post RubenF Posted July 27, 2019 Popular Post Posted July 27, 2019 Corona Especial from 24:24. Simply sublime Wife out getting her hair done, house all to my self. Time to bust out the big guns. PSP lusi from recent 24:24 after only a couple weeks rest (couldn't help myself). So far so great 32
Popular Post Ciscojohansson Posted July 27, 2019 Popular Post Posted July 27, 2019 CoRo MEL AUG 17. My go to smoke of late. Great construction, burn and draw. So far the flavour is classic cohiba but a little thin. 18

Popular Post JohnS Posted July 27, 2019 Popular Post Posted July 27, 2019 Quai d'Orsay No. 50 SMA Jul 2018 Welcome to my second cigar review from a 10-count box of this very much 'hyped-up' Quai d'Orsay Petit Robusto release from Habanos S.A. The last time I reviewed this cigar was three months ago when I smoke the first cigar from this box. Yes, simply put, it was outstanding but my opinion then was that while it was good, I know that a little age will settle it further and it will get even better. This QdO No.50 was similarly mild and had distinct gingerbread and toffee notes in the first third which continued on into the middle, This time I didn't get prominent licorice or honey notes in the second third as was the case last time. The last third was again similar in the way it became 'toasty' with cedar and hazelnut notes, but this time there was a lot more sweet spice on the palate in the last third. In conclusion, I think these are quite good young but if you've managed to secure a few boxes of this release, do yourself a favour and put one (or two) of them away with some significant rest as Quai d'Orsay is a marca known for being conducive to aging. 21

Popular Post bigbwalls Posted July 28, 2019 Popular Post Posted July 28, 2019 Bolivar Royal Corona - July 14 I've got about 8 left in the box. While it was never a great box, age has definitely made these more enjoyable. This started out muted and bland, but I’m about halfway through now and it’s opened up. I’m getting cloves, cream, and a sweet spice. Not the best Royal Corona I’ve had - but far from the worst. 20
Popular Post Spurgeon Posted July 28, 2019 Popular Post Posted July 28, 2019 Couldn’t wait the 30 days, and I had three of these anyway. My first real Habanos... Oh my... And things are only supposed to get better with age?!? 25
Popular Post kcmontie Posted July 28, 2019 Popular Post Posted July 28, 2019 the wrapper on these are so fragile, you have to really take your time. 19 1

Popular Post MigsG Posted July 28, 2019 Popular Post Posted July 28, 2019 TES MAR 17 RyJ Exhibicion No. 4, thanks to @Thirds Just as El Prez described in the store. Powerful cherry front and center with light milk chocolate in the background. Towards the end of the final third, strong spice showed up. A jammy smoke. Just enjoyed this '17 Punch Regios de Punch EL 29 1
Popular Post GeorgieP Posted July 28, 2019 Popular Post Posted July 28, 2019 (edited) Sitting I at my TJ apartment enjoying a Monte Linea listening to Bad Company. This - is - the best Monte I’ve ever had. Stay tuned for the rest of the smoke. Bought it as a single so unfortunately can’t tell you the box code. Update: the first third was very good and typical Monte flavor. I thought it was going to die for a second about half ways through but it revived itself. Could have been that it was a little windy. Second third started to get a little pepper but still had a good chocolate nutty flavor. Aroma was great the whole ways through. Last third I started to get a funky burn and had to relight, of course more pepper but no bite. All in all, definitely worth it . Edited July 28, 2019 by GeorgieP Update the rest of the story 24
Popular Post LLC Posted July 28, 2019 Popular Post Posted July 28, 2019 I still have some Sir Winnie’s from 2014 but cracked open a new box of MEL DIC 16 that I picked up in Havana in March of 2017. I had never seen a box of cigars so oily to the point you could see the outline of the oil from the cigar on the wax paper. Decided to give one a try so took it out a few days ago to have tonight. Quick clip of the very top of the cap showed a nice divot showing the care this cigar was rolled with. Not one relight and at one point I had to put it down a leave for about 10 minutes. Came back expecting to have to light it up again but took a puff and it was still going perfectly. Over all very good but quite mild until the end. Perfect construction and I think I’ll enjoy this box over the next 3-5 years and be rewarded with my patience. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk 26
