So I'm sitting here in Tuscon at the smoking area, which is out of camera range (of course). Someone pulls up and asks.me question..I could not hear, so me being my affable self goes closer to the car. What do they do? Pull out a 22. And shoot me directly in the head and drive off...

Luckily I'm a big dude with thick bones. It bounced off my head. Here's a gross pic of you're curious this was the clotted up version btw. I lost about a pint on scene

I'm uglier than normal now. Two black eyes, one swollen almost shut. The hole was too big to super glue so stitches were inevitable I couldn't make my skin touch. Minor skull fracture.  I got mor

Bro did you go to the hospital?

Lol.no I refuse to go to the hospital. I bought super glue from the gift shop instead of paying 2000 for stitches.

Me right now.

I recommend you to go to a hospital but 2k bucks? anyway keep well.

Lucky if you get out that cheap. I  was in a car wreck and knocked my kneecap off. Two exrays and a sorry you will have to go somewhere else because we don't have a surgeon on staff at the moment, cost me $3,600. I can completely understand the reluctance of hospital care.

Wow Dan, I don't know what to say dear friend. It's 11 o'clock at night as I type this and my mouth is wide-open. In other words, I am in shock.

It's good to see you have the ability to take photos and even post this up. I wonder if you are running on some form of adrenalin right now and maybe you might be feel different in a day or two? Let us know how you fare.

Being randomly shot in the face in public, then refusing to seek medical care because you're afraid of the expense is the most American thing I've ever heard of.

Thank God you're alright. So far.

Glad you're OK @BoliDan. You might consider checking it out though to make sure theres nothing more serious afoot that could throw a blood clot. to answer thr posts question, 've never been shot but I've been shot at, and stabbed once. Good times.

Wow!! I’ve never been shot, and after seeing this post, I’d really like to keep it that way. It appears you’re incredibly lucky, but man, I’d be a little worried that some damage has been done that you just can’t see or feel...yet. Hope not though...glad you’re able to shrug it off.

Wow. Wow. Wow. As has been said in the posts above, I believe you are insanely lucky to be alive.  I cannot believe that some kids would be stupid enough to try and take a human life. Yet another uniquely American thing (or at least to my understanding).

Glad to hear that you are on the mend and that the proper authorities are involved. Heal quick and well!
