So I'm sitting here in Tuscon at the smoking area, which is out of camera range (of course). Someone pulls up and asks.me question..I could not hear, so me being my affable self goes closer to the car

I'm uglier than normal now. Two black eyes, one swollen almost shut. The hole was too big to super glue so stitches were inevitable I couldn't make my skin touch. Minor skull fracture.  I got mor

I remember reading about the Mossad using the .22 pretty effectively in the 70's... I guess they use 9mm these days. That being said... hope you feel better

From what I understand .22 is a very effective and popular close range/point blank assassin round. It's quiet, small gun and the small bullet rarely penetrates fully and bounces around doing a lot of internal damage in the body, particularly the head/brain. A .22 also fragments into so many small pieces it usually can't be ballistically analyzed.

The drawback is that it's effective at close range only and it doesn't have much stopping power. If you miss or don't hit a vital part of the body it won't do much (ask Dan).

@BoliDan, thanks for the update man. Glad you are getting more help. Praying for your speedy recovery 🙏

It depends on a variety of other variables though, chiefly the type of round and the barrel length of the gun. Get the recipe wrong and it can be quite anemic.

Rule 8 No Discussion Of Guns

"I love firearms but there is to be no open discussion or inflammatory imagery of firearms. Such topics have invariably led to unwanted US political discourse."

Per the forum rule above, no its not. Take the politics elsewhere. This thread isn't about that. Maybe instead say you are happy BoliDan is doing well.

It was a joke my friend, hence the ...

And you are correct, I do hope that BoliDan is doing well.

Based upon his pictures, he seems to be handling his situation much better than I imagine most would.

Wow Dan, you are one lucky man after reading your latest update. Never would’ve guessed a baseball cap would save the day, but happy to hear that since I never leave home without one too

I think @BoliDan got all the research he'll ever want about Tucson.  Hope you're feeling better brother!  Amazing story.  Crazy shit going on, that's for sure.
