Got to watch the KU Jayhawks go to 4-0 for the first time in over a decade. Rock Chalk!

Tomorrow, smoking ribs and chicken thighs while watching the Vikings hopefully rebound from a terrible Monday night outing to go to 2-1. SKOL!

Beautiful weather here in KC so all the watching will be on the deck with a few cigars, beers and daiquiris.

Watched it myself. Looked pretty good. Have not been to a football game in Lawrence since 05. May have to get up there soon!

It's my daughter's bat mitzvah today, so that is taking up pretty much my whole weekend.  Since this is our last one of 3, my wife is going a little bit overboard.  I have to preface that by saying that all bar/bat mitzvahs in the suburbs of NYC are a little bit overboard, but my wife is going a little bit overboard even by those standards.  If there was an equivalent for the word "Bridezilla" for a bat mitzvah mother, that would be my wife.  The sushi chef at our club "isn't creative enough", so we brought in a sushi chef from a popular restaurant, just for the sushi portion of the appetizer segment of the cocktail hour, along with 30 other types of appetizers.  We don't have a photo booth, we have an entire room being built in the ballroom with computer generated graphics on the walls and floor with her name on it, and a separate photographer just to take pictures of people in the room.  A giant video screen, like you would see in Times Square.  And I don't know what a virtual roller coaster is, but it cant be a good idea paired with an open bar.  Anyway, that's my weekend.  Who needs a Ferrari when you can throw a party for a bunch of 13 year olds for 4 hours?🤪

Well aside from all the spending. Congrats you big ole dad. Do kids like sushi??

Here’s some pics of the event last night.

Anyone named Elaine give her Boggle game? Just saw Seinfeld episode recently where she gives Lippmans son Boggle for his bar mitzvah! He was not happy with it!
