To say they were scouring the world to find jews isn't accurate.

I guess I can follow Rob’s request since this is such ahistorical nonsense I don’t even know where to begin.

Poland's PM has confirmed that "the Polish border is open for all Ukrainians, even those without a valid ID document." He has even said that they are 'welcome to bring their pets with them'.

I am going to ask for the final time that all protagonists abandon their apparent compelling need to educate everyone on the correct interpretation of Nazism /anti semitism.    Capice?

said that i was assuming you were not a holocaust denier. not that you were. to suggest that i have labelled you as a holocaust denier is completely false.

No, you did not label me as one but I'm baffled as to how any of my comments even had you considering it as a possibility.

Just another example of how questioning even a small detail from the sacrosanct mainstream narrative results in thoughts of possibly being some kind of radical.

sometimes mainstream is mainstream for a reason. i have seen absolutely nothing from yourself or anyone to provide a creditable argument to the contrary on this.

without looking at you or anyone in particular, there are a great many people, and certainly not just here, who like to cloak themselves in maverick status as though it infers some extra insight into issues. the old 'i don't think like everyone else therefore i must be right' argument. and i am not saying that there are not occasions when i have probably done the same or when that argument gets up. but not here.

as one of our members has said, something about walking, quacking, looking like a duck...

Yes, but in too many cases in the last 30 years it's for the wrong reason. What's the mainstream narrative on the Kennedy assassination for example?

In my experience there's always something wholly inaccurate or at least highly misleading in any modern mainstream narrative. When it comes to topics that have become politically charged the mainstream is usually at best half correct and is often 100% wrong.

Confirmation bias, cognitive dissonance and groupthink are always nipping at our heels. As Socrates advised we should always ask ourselves how it is we know what we purport to know.

Why would Putin waste his time negotiating with "Nazi Drug Addicts"? That massive capitulation would be a tough sell to his citizens at this point.

Sounds like a distraction now that their ground forces have been all but halted. Running out of fuel, ammunition and will as we speak.

Have you seen Zelenskyy's Videos from Kyiv over the last 12 hours? He's pretty much taunting Putin at this point.

Those young Russia soldiers are having a hard time seeing there fellow Slav's the Ukrainian's as an enemy.

They're struggling against the Ukrainians for gods sake!! A military far smaller and worse equipped than the Russian army. The only way Russia "wins" any war against NATO is by killing us all.

This is partly the state of modern warfare in our age. It is very hard to invade (and then to hold) all but the smallest/weakest of countries.

This photo is marketing genius, how long before it goes globally viral?

Actually an incredibly useful battle tactic. Without air support ground troops are greatly hindered in a lot of ways.

It seems that the Russian troops don’t know why they’re there or even where they’re going.

Yes, timely too since the dominos appear to be falling Ukraine's way.

Will it be enough?

Will Kviv survive the night?

They can if enough civilians take them up on free weapons. But then again, would you take up arms to help an oppressive regime defeat an enemy that’s just as oppressive as the invaders? From the outside looking in that’s a hard call.
