Popular Post El Presidente Posted September 10, 2021 Popular Post Posted September 10, 2021 That was a brilliant San Cristobal Harimau & sticky tasting on the deck yesterday afternoon! The SCH continues to impress and it was enjoyed by all participants.......which is a rare thing indeed! the star wine of the day was the Henschke Noble Gewurztraminer. The PX was a bees proverbial behind. If you haven'tpaired stickies with cigars, give it a crack. I am looking forward to today immensely. Fathers day was last week in Oz but my kids and I agreed to celebrate today where we could go for a long pisssy lunch with our partners and have all the time in the world to do so. Ben found the restaurant "Happy Boy" which is left field Asian. Domestic duties tomorrow + work + Tomahawk steaks and cigars as we watch the Wallabies take on South Africa in the Rugby. Ouch. Have a great weekend and let us know what you are up to! 7
smbauerllc Posted September 10, 2021 Posted September 10, 2021 Unfortunately nothing really changes on the weekends here at the veteran's home except some staff are off, and the weekend crew for nursing takes over.Other than that, same as any other day Only thing else different is I try to spice things up a little with either an extra Cigar Saturday and Sunday, or just the usual 2, but better ones than usual Sent from my SM-G930V using Tapatalk 4
Popular Post KCCubano Posted September 10, 2021 Popular Post Posted September 10, 2021 College Football, Baseball, NFL and cigars. May not leave the house! 7 1

Throw in a pool table, charcoal grill with some two-thumb thick ribeyes, and a keg of Coors Banquet and a bottle of single malt/single barrel and you have the PERFECT weekend! I'll be watching football, doing some house stuff, and hopefully enjoying a few cigars. Supposed to heat up again (humidity coming back) so who knows... 4

Ouch. Are those Parma wallabies or Bennett wallabies? The Parma tend to be a bit high strung for a rugby match. Kinda like Posh from the Spice Girls... Here in the states, a six day workweek is somewhat normal. Sunday is cigar/rum, fillet on the grill and Vikings/Bengals at 13:00. Bucks game last night was great! 😀 4
Popular Post BigGuns Posted September 11, 2021 Popular Post Posted September 11, 2021 Tomahawks on the KJ tonight with some family, SC game and dinner with the boys tomorrow night, NFL and a bit of work Sunday. Some cigars sprinkled throughout, starting with a PSD4 currently…cheers to the weekend, FOH! 6
BrightonCorgi Posted September 11, 2021 Posted September 11, 2021 Going on a fall cruise with the local AMOC chapter today. I'll try to take some pictures. 1
Akela3rd Posted September 11, 2021 Posted September 11, 2021 We've got a patch of good weather after a wet summer so...JJ Fox yesterday (very nice Fundadores) as I was up in London; paddleboarding with some Scout leaders and helpers today; tomorrow it's back to London to see my first gig since March last year - Dark Sky Burial's first ever show (side project of Shane Embury from Napalm Death); plus open water swimming every day at some point as it's my new fitness addition and there's a good lake near where I now live. Popular Post coug28 Posted September 11, 2021 Popular Post Posted September 11, 2021 These two 03 SW will go up in ash tomorrow, and one will be shared with a good friend to celebrate the first NFL Sunday of the season at a local cigar lounge. Already couldn’t sleep last night. Like a kid on Christmas morning, tomorrow can’t come soon enough! 14
Popular Post jbosma Posted September 11, 2021 Popular Post Posted September 11, 2021 Hiking Sedona Arizona and the Grand Canyon and of course many cuban cigars. 12
Popular Post Chibearsv Posted September 11, 2021 Popular Post Posted September 11, 2021 This, plus Football Sunday! 12
Popular Post Habana Mike Posted September 11, 2021 Popular Post Posted September 11, 2021 Found some great Indian takeout up the road. Some of the best Indian I've had outside the subcontinent. US Open finals on the new patio TV. Samsung Terrace. Great picture. Built for the beach! Something on the grill. A little wine. Cigars and various libations. Nightly session in the spa. Cleaned the garage this morning after taking the dog for an early morning walk on the beach. Surf's up a bit with clouds and of & on rain following Larry passing by. Hoping for sunshine tomorrow to take the Spider out for a cruise and a little beach time. Probably visit the in-laws in Daytona Beach. Life down here is rough! 10
Frozen North Posted September 11, 2021 Posted September 11, 2021 I’m baking some pies for friends this weekend. I enjoy it almost as much as woodworking. 2
teamrandr Posted September 11, 2021 Posted September 11, 2021 Night game for Michigan tonight! Then pack up to head off for a week of relaxing and of course some cigars. 1

Popular Post nKostyan Posted September 12, 2021 Popular Post Posted September 12, 2021 I was on an excursion to the oldest Russian sparkling wine factory Abrau-Durso, where several technologies have been preserved. Some of the bottles are turned over manually during fermentation, as was done in the 19th century according to French technology (an analogue of champagne). There is also a Soviet accelerated mass fermentation technology, when sparkling wine matures in large barrels in 25 days.https://en.abrau.ru/ 17

Reminds me of a visit to the Codorniu cellars in northern Spain. The Champagne region of France is only 3 hrs driving from me and I enjoy a visit there once in a while. Was interested in seeing more of Abrau-Durso but your link was flagged by the AV in my PC so I googled and found another link and a nice video on YT : http://en.abrau.ru/about/ 3
