It is one of the few public holiday traditions that I really respect. Under different circumstances Di and I would be celebrating it there now with good friends Mike and Dana. God willing maybe next year ? I’ll eat w my wife and kids who recently returned from college and take a plate to my Mom and sit (far away) w her while she eats. Also bringing her a box fan w a Merv 13 filter taped on it as it is unclear to me how much of the air from outside her condo can get into her unit. Cheap insurance to clear the air so to speak. Crazy times indeed. Enjoy the meal! Thinking about what I might smoke when I get home later tonight. So only have dessert pic. Add another weird event to 2020. First time celebrating a holiday without all the family and friends stopping by for dessert/drinks/cigars. All the extended family end up and one of their houses for the holiday. But this year that all got messed up with Covid. Also I totally spaced off the Thanksgiving picture thread. So the only thing that was left that was picture worthy was the Rosette cookies. I resurrected the tradition of making them 3 years ago. I also provided a smoked turkey breast and for an appeteazer smoked shrimps.
