Popular Post Chibearsv Posted April 5, 2020 Popular Post Posted April 5, 2020 I'm interested in hearing how everyone is getting along as a shut-in with their significant other. I read an article this morning recommending that couples should take the time that they have together to re-decorate their homes since it could help keep the relationship cohesive. I thought the idea was ridiculous but I showed the article to my wife and suggested we could agree on some new home decor. She responded as expected by first spitting out her coffee and then saying, "F that. Whoever wrote that article is married to a gay man. Go back to your garage with your cigars". Love her. Everything is as it should be here. ? 6 21 1
Popular Post Drguano Posted April 5, 2020 Popular Post Posted April 5, 2020 My wife yelled down the hall, “Do you ever get a shooting pain across your body like someone’s got a voodoo doll of you and they are stabbing it?” ”No...” “How about now?” 8 16 1
Popular Post Drguano Posted April 5, 2020 Popular Post Posted April 5, 2020 Now, if you are looking for a serious response, we are fine. I work from home 7:30 to 4:00 and she does the cleaning a projects. We try to go for a 30-45 minute walk most days. I do the cooking and we try to watch something together. 9

Looking forward to all of them. Thx
Guest Nekhyludov Posted April 5, 2020 Posted April 5, 2020 All is harmonious at Castle Destro. As long as I remember to begin each day with an attitude of gratitude, for many, many things, but especially for my wife and daughter. This could all be infinitely worse if I were both isolated and alone.
PigFish Posted April 5, 2020 Posted April 5, 2020 ... do you want to hear about when we are talking? OR, not talking...? -LOL -the Pig 3
captaincaveman Posted April 5, 2020 Posted April 5, 2020 I keep getting told what I am doing wrong. Same as always. 3

Stogiepuffer Posted April 5, 2020 Posted April 5, 2020 I'm in the dog house right now. Our Costco delivery came in while the wife was in the shower. I sprayed all refrigerated items with Lysol but did not wait for it to dry prior to putting away items... Plus I did not use gloves... Now I'm in quarantine for 14 days. They say wife who puts husband in dog house soon finds him in cat house Sent from my moto z3 using Tapatalk 2
Popular Post LordAnubis Posted April 6, 2020 Popular Post Posted April 6, 2020 I mean we live in times were gloves, masks, lots of plastic sheets and cleaning supplies are not looked at with a second glance.... if you don't hear from me for more than 3 days.... send the police please. To be honest, i'm kind of loving this whole thing. Haven't left the house in days, haven't had the need to put pants on in days. If only it wasn't so damn cold and i could enjoy a day on the balcony, life would be pretty sweet. Id also like if the pool and gym in the building was open, but apart from those few things i'm quite liking this. Bring on the next 18 months of isolation i reckon. 2 3
Popular Post scap99 Posted April 6, 2020 Popular Post Posted April 6, 2020 We've "rearranged" the furniture quite a bit these last few weeks. We've gotten testy with each other, but we've also had some good laughs. Pretty much we just get along and appreciate each other's company. The only hard part is deciding who gets to work on the desktop with two 28" monitors while the other gets stuck on a 15" laptop. All in all, there's nobody else I'd want to be locked up with, which is why I married her to begin with. (Just a few months shy of 30 years together.) 5
Habana Mike Posted April 6, 2020 Posted April 6, 2020 Still talking most days. Sometimes a bit tense but for the most part I believe we'll get through this... Put each other first and it will work out in the end. 1
wickettedge Posted April 6, 2020 Posted April 6, 2020 We’ve been doing pretty good. We both work from home anyways so it isn’t a huge change. Mostly having kids home from school has been a new challenge but it’s been fun mostly. The hard part is all the social stuff like church, parks, and restaurants being shut down. 1
armada_crew Posted April 6, 2020 Posted April 6, 2020 Not too bad here, she's a kindergarten teacher who has to now figure out how to teach 5 year olds using zoom, I get brownie points for helping with my "tech" skills, which really isn't much. Plus it's us (2) against them (3) teenage boys trying to get away with whatever they can. So far we feel like a pretty good team. 1

Enjoying the full time baby care and have overall had a good first week alone with bub. I know it’s gonna tougher going forward but baby girl is changing so fast it’s fun to witness it instead of catching up on sleep and being a zombie when I come home from a trip. I’m Trying to be the best stepford wife I can be! 2
Eric05 Posted April 6, 2020 Posted April 6, 2020 I am getting told to stop smoking cigars, because the virus will kill me. And then she says what do you want to smoke next? But kidding aside, I got some cooked meals. And that's about it. Has given me time to do yard work 1
Akela3rd Posted April 6, 2020 Posted April 6, 2020 Bought a smart TV just before all this kicked off. I don't watch TV. She's probably in the living room. Dunno really. Sent from GJ 1151 1

GrouchoMarx Posted April 7, 2020 Posted April 7, 2020 We practice social distancing. She calls it "having a headache " 1 2
Popular Post El Hoze Posted April 7, 2020 Popular Post Posted April 7, 2020 My stock is trading at an all time high which always helps. We have a 15 month old boy who wakes up at 5am every day. She is a night owl, I am an early riser and usually beat him out of bed and make coffee for mom. Score one for Dad. I am also the cook in the house. We’ve been eating like royalty (fat royalty). Score two for Dad. She likes both cigars and wine but I used to get flack for having hundreds of bottles of wine in the house and thousands of cigars. Score three for Dad. 4 1 2
Kayslay Posted April 7, 2020 Posted April 7, 2020 I honestly feel as if me and the wife have been more connected as of late, at least that's what she tells me . There are times where being in close quarters coupled with her germaphobia things can get tense. My cigar smoking has ramped up tremendously though. 3
Squarehead Posted April 7, 2020 Posted April 7, 2020 No issues here.My upper management and I have always done everything together for over 54 years.A little bit of grumple here or there but overall everything worked out fine.BTW she lets my smoke in the house without ever complaining. 4
