I had to cancel my birthday party last night due to this situation, more than 30 ppl invited, instead only my and wife’s parents could come. Nevertheless, we had a nice feast since all the  food was bought in advance. We’ll freeze the rest and live off of it for a month now :)

today is ‘15 La Punta with nice Belgian style  beer ?

After a busy week and very busy Saturday into Sunday morning it’s finally time.  Definitely late to the party for grocery shopping...both grocery stores around my house are pretty much cleaned out so no fancy home cooked meal like usual on Sunday night.  Didn’t stock up early so when we went for our normal weekend grocery trip we were out of luck, barely got anything.  This virus deal has really got things screwed up.  Anyway, went to our favorite Chinese joint and brought home the good stuff for a nice dinner on fine china at the couch haha.  Delicious food, some time with the family, and just a few minutes to take a load off after being on my feet all weekend.  Now that the food has settled its cigar time!  Going back to back tonight as it’s much needed.  First one up a nice dark wrapper 2018 QD50 for the review comp then I’ll crack this new bottle of Glenlivet Founders Reserve and sit back and enjoy a Non Plus from 18 as well.  Have a great evening everyone and to our host, thank you for the opportunity for this giveaway!

Usual Sunday lunch for me - rib eye steak with a fried egg on top, chunk of good bread for mopping up, Brewdog AF beer and a Party Short to follow. I look forward to this solo treat every week, the only variation is the cigar. f1252d8a9caf28000b5a7141f130b28c.jpg

Ah, "Eggs on Horseback". I remember as a young teen reading Robert A Heinlein's book, "Friday", and seeing this particular meal. Never knew it was called that, but I had often eaten my steaks like that when I was a kid.

Man all these pictures of Wellers are making me Jelli.  I have had it a couple of times at the local bars but its crazy hard to get a bottle around here.

If it makes you feel any better, I have to travel out of state to get it. ?

I decided to make a big pot of homemade lamb, pork, and beef meatballs with red gravy. It's my daughter's favorite and should keep us in leftovers for a few days while schools are closed.

Followed by a nice MOE JUN 14 RyJ Cazadores, courtesy of @PrairieSmoke, and some Papua New Guinea coffee from a BOTL. Thanks for the great smoke, my friend!

That pizza attachment is great. I've been eyeing one for years, but the freight cost to Australia is a killer!

I enjoyed this great San Cristobal while starting the new season of Babylon Berlin while relaxing behind my house. I was really excited for the new season, and so far it is really good!

Had some friends over and tried a new pizza attachment for the old Weber, turned out awesome.  Wish I had taken more pics but was too busy eating and drinking.  Had a Davidoff with a Manhattan, and a Monte media corona with a bottle of Colonel Taylor bourbon later in the evening.  A wonderful day.

Missing pineapple, though. Sweet and salty.

It is pretty amazing.  A great excuse to cook outside.  After some trial and error, we found that using a second grate and pizza stone above the pie really helped everything cook more evenly.

The real stars that day were some meats from a local butcher.  The pizza with the green olives had a spicy sopresetta.  We also had coppa, and some lamb sausage, that were insanely good with things like fennel, leeks, mushrooms.  I'm getting hungry again just thinking about it.
