Had an absolutely excellent one last year that I received as a complimentary bodyguard for a Bond Roberts order. Wanted to get more but since they were discontinued in 2002 and only ever came in 50 cabs it was quite difficult. Very rarely on bond Roberts and the first full cab sold for $5,500 or so.

Edit: also supposedly a strong cigar that ages well. My other white whale being the le Hoyo du Dauphin, discontinued 2003 but that one being milder might be past its prime in some respects.

ROP ABR 21 Monte1 - look and smell great. However I’m experiencing the same aforementioned issue with the box not closing. I removed the thin foam insert placed by the vendor for protection. Not much help. No biggie, just going down for a long long nap anyway.

Had my box of PL Montecarlos arrive today. They look, feel, and smoke (I couldn’t wait) perfect. These are one of my top 3 - not just cheap and cheerful, but out of all cigars. Can’t wait til they get a few years on them. Habanos needs to start making more long panetelas / ninfas again. 

EDIT: For anyone who ordered from 24:24, these are RAT AGO 21. I think you’ll be happy. I definitely am.

I have the same box code, and mine are clearly overfilled. I’ve punched five or six, and almost all of them are unacceptably tight.

No need to freeze these Por Larrañaga Petit Coronas after being delivered on a rather nippy -18°C morning. Still, they  look lovely in the bright winter sun and have good aroma SOTP.

What’s your source where you feel the need to freeze? I thought everything on the grey market has already been frozen?
