Lodge your vote for the star Piramide of 2019 :cigar:

Caveat:  your decision is based on 2017-/2019 box codes only and from regular production stock.  :ok:

let us know if there was a standout for you.

Upmann top for me. Monte #2 less so. Haven't had chance on the others recently....

HUP #2 because limited to 17-19. Monte 2 right up there with them but my stock of those precedes Prez's dates. I prefer HUP earlier and Monte 2 later in day in multiple day scenarios. I like the cohiba, but at $45/stick it's a bit ridiculous.

I have some original release Cohiba’s but haven’t had one in a long time so hard to vote for it. I went with the HU.

Dip 2 was the cracker and honorable mention goes to the Unicos/P2s.  The Upmanns let me down but I have a box of PSP marinating.  Hoping it changes my opinion.  Monte hit or miss too.

Voted for the P2, received a couple from the Piramide sampler and they are solid, one of the best cigar I have had this year. To be fair the HUP is one of my favorite large format cigars but haven't smoked the 2018's yet. My vote could change. Haven't had any recent CPE either, only stock I have is from 2012, they are really good now.

Man I love Upmann, Dip, and P2s.  All smoking well from my 2019 boxes.  I voted for the Dip.  The most complex flavors for me considering the youth.  Though long term I know the Upmann will edge ahead.

P2s have been amazing lately

Same here, '18 box codes have been amazing for me.

Dip 2 only because it left an impression to GET A BOX when they come up. It was a single from store in April? I remembered there was a lot going on with it whilst I was engaged in conversation. Meaning it was good enough to seriously distract me with every draw. Hupmann 2 next, then P2, last is monte 2  because it was awful and I pitched it. Only bad MC#2 I’ve had. An outlier I hope. All this based on very small sample of maybe 10 sticks total. It’s just a time thing and I’ve been at the PC and minuto much more.

I'll have to go Dip 2 on this. Consistency, construction and blend it's been delivering for quite a while. It's never been my cup of tea but I can always appreciate when a cigar knows what it wants to be and delivers consistently.

I really interesting question.

- A Monte 2 can be a 99 point cigar on occasions,  but those occasions are rare.

- Upmann 2 is a great cigar, but the 46 vies with it, and its importance is slightly watered down because of it.

- The Unicos is a stellar cigar, but I just don't think a great deal of people have tried it.

- Dip 2 is lovely, but almost gets extra points as it's the last representative of a blockbuster blend.  that said if there was Dip 1s or 3's on the shelves, I would dump the 2 like a bad habit

- Cohiba Piramide Extra, one of the very few Cohibas I rate, as it's got balls, and it's got a bit of funky complexity about it. But as over double the price of the others, it's no where near twice as good.

- P2's    These are back of the pack for me,  yes recent production has taken an uptick,  but so has the Presidentes.....and thats a far better cigar.

Conclusion for me is a 50/50 grouping

Unicos, Dip 2, Upmann 2   in the leaders pack

Monte 2, P2, CPE   holding up the rear.

Torn... Diplo 2 vs Upmann... If I've gotta pull from a post '17 box and smoke it today, I'd have to go with Upmann I guess.  But if we're talking about level of anticipation for a later date, probably the Dip 2
