gllerner Posted March 11, 2019 Posted March 11, 2019 The sad thing is that they aren’t that goodSent from my iPhone using Tapatalk 4
Bohn007 Posted March 12, 2019 Posted March 12, 2019 Per the Director of El Laguito, they have been asked to roll another 200,000 cigars.... on top of the 500,000 originally rolled. 1
Lotusguy Posted March 13, 2019 Posted March 13, 2019 whoa. that's a big increase. Goes to prove that there are a lot of suckers out there
Tollickd Posted March 13, 2019 Posted March 13, 2019 Goes to prove that there are a lot of suckers out there Yes almost fell for it! Last year I bought one for 50 EUR and was so tempted by a box but held off as I can get other great cigars for cheaper! Still have at one in my humidor now they cost 75eur!Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
Hoepssa Posted March 14, 2019 Posted March 14, 2019 HSA produced quite a lot excellent cigars in 2018, every time I grab my talisman to smoke, always comes an idea 'can they be that good like 1966 LE?'
Popular Post nKostyan Posted April 22, 2019 Popular Post Posted April 22, 2019 Second coming. Boxes from Havana. 4 1
David88 Posted June 5, 2019 Posted June 5, 2019 As the Tacos was a 2018 LE release it makes more sense that production may continue into 2019, maybe they didn’t meet their target in 2018 and they will now continue rolling them until X number of boxes have been released. It’s ridiculous that the Talisman would be brought back now. If they didn’t roll enough upon release in 2017, why did they ever stop rolling them? Since release I wouldn’t have described the Talisman as ‘hard to find’ either so I don’t think the initial production numbers were low.

Limitada is always an unusual tobacco, so the batch depends on the amount of tobacco. Maybe in the last cycle of fermentation, obtained the same tobacco that allows you to repeat the blend.
HumidorJuan Posted June 6, 2019 Posted June 6, 2019 How many Marcas need to be rolled to be considered regular production?
GasGuy82 Posted June 6, 2019 Posted June 6, 2019 Imagine how limited cigars like SLR DC, MdO2, SLR A, Hoyo Des Dieux and the like are. I bet they never even rolled 70,000 of any of those cigars in a year, let alone 700k. I mean, PLMC, Picadores, Party 898, anything SCDLH/Sancho, I bet none of those cigars had a single vitola with 100k rolled.
VRATJV07 Posted November 7, 2019 Posted November 7, 2019 https://www.cigaraficionado.com/article/habanos-to-bring-back-cohiba-talisman-in-limited-quantities Supposedly the tobacco is from the same harvest according to this article in CA 1
tigger Posted November 7, 2019 Posted November 7, 2019 "'Habanos S.A. has decided to reward the loyalty of its followers with an additional quantity of Cohiba Talismán.'” You couldn't make it up... 2
Fugu Posted November 7, 2019 Posted November 7, 2019 As long as Talismán & Co are cross-subsidising my regprod I am more than happy to hear this. 1
Baccy Posted November 7, 2019 Posted November 7, 2019 All I have to say is, how many times has HSA pulled this move?Sent from my SM-G955U using Tapatalk
UnionCityCubano Posted November 7, 2019 Posted November 7, 2019 Interesting Move. Just saw the CA article today.

garbandz Posted January 9, 2020 Posted January 9, 2020 smart move, look at the profit made on these. I really did not think the price on these was realistic, so what do I know...…... I bet the HSA folks are dancing on the tables.
