Got a new car yesterday.  Big adjustment after driving a G Wagon for the last 5 years.  I was driving home from the dealer on the highway wondering why everyone was driving so slow, until I looked at my speed and realized I was driving 95 mph.

Yes. It's the new 3rd gen Panamera. So much fun to drive, I can see this spoiling me for other cars.

Funny, I planned on getting a 911, but my wife planned on me getting a Cayenne so there’s still room for our teenagers in the back.  

We both met in the middle with the Panamera.

Funny about not realizing how fast you were going. When I picked up my Macan S after taking the on ramp and merging onto the highway I looked down and was shocked how fast I was going and it didn’t even feel like I was going that fast. You’re going to love it

Spending a couple of weeks in Italy, visiting my daughter, who is taking a semester abroad in Florence.

This week we did Rome, Tuscany, and Florence. We have a few more days in Florence, then we go to Venice for most of the week and then back to Rome for a couple of days before heading home.

Loving the antipodean confidence of the Jandles.

I can't think of any Brit who would get on board any seacraft without a pair of sensible shoes...even though that makes no bloody sense.
