Popular Post BrightonCorgi Posted January 19 Popular Post Posted January 19 Went to a new El Salvadorian restaurant down the street from my house. There are several in my town and this is the best one so far. This is the first thing you see when walking in. A shrine to President Nayib Bukele. I think he's popular and handsome for sure. 7

Rob has a similar shrine of himself at Czar House. He has to constantly replace the picture, as someone keeps drawing funny moustaches on it. 7

They met at church, I believe, a bit over three years ago. The wedding is in the first week of January 2027. It's an unusual time of year to get married (as it's so close to New Year's Day and people generally take their summer vacation during this time of the year), but I distinctly remember my Uncle and Auntie getting married at the same time of year in 1983 and it worked out for them! 4
riderpride Posted April 17 Posted April 17 Congratulations @JohnS! They look so happy together, and I wish them all the best. Cheers! 1
Popular Post riderpride Posted April 17 Popular Post Posted April 17 Boys weekend on Bremner Blvd. My son and I got back a bit ago, but we had a blast. We went to 2 Jays games and they treated us well, and we saw the Raps clinch a playoff birth in the final regular season game (had to rep @LaoFan). Write-up to come in the MLB thread. Cheers! 20260411_123843.mp4 17 1

You boys must have loved that. What a trip! Raps got a shot to move on to round 2. Jays gotta get their heads out... Injuries ain't helping, rough stint to start the season. Right on the field with the players. Varland is one of the few bright spots so far. What a beaut! 1 1
Popular Post El Presidente Posted April 19 Author Popular Post Posted April 19 I caught up with old mates Adam and Manu in Singapore yesterday. I have known Manu since 1990. Jesus, we have got ourselves in and out of trouble during that time throughout Asia/Africa. One of my great mentors. At a lounge currently at Changi heading to Ho Chi Min for Amicigar. It is going to be a fun time. 😉 16 1

chasy Posted April 21 Posted April 21 I need to hear more about Saigon… @westg said it’s a tough city to take down… please elaborate…?

Popular Post Connoisseur Kim Posted April 22 Popular Post Posted April 22 Today, I've just got Vector 14x Butane and Prince GB-2001 Piezo Micro Torch. I've always wanted to have either Vector 14x or Xikar Purofine High Performance for more firepower and better fuel, but neither of them were available until few months ago. Thankfully, Vector 14x is now obtainable in Korea and I hope Xikar Purofine High Performance will be accessible too 😃 In regards to Prince GB-2001, I'm immediately impressed that the flame is really strong (Vector 14x made it even more powerful XD), and it always ignites without issues (I sometimes experience misfire with my Executive II lighter which is really frustrating.). Even better, it not only has huge fuel tank but also allow me to switch between jet and soft flame which makes it an ideal tabletop cigar lighter IMHO 👍 7
