Two new contenders in this week.

Both will go for testing once one more sample arrives but let us know your opinion :spotlight:

The positive to be taken from this testing is that we now have the system set to test into the future.

Keep  in mind I will put up a store credit of $250 USD  $350 AUD for any member who provides a cigar for testing that proves to be of  crystalline substance and not mould.  If you believe you have that cigar, take a photo or two and email them to Greg or myself and upon review we will give you the shipping details.  We will only take one to two cigars for testing at a time. We only need one cigar for testing from any individual. I will send you a few cigars that I enjoy as hopefully equal compensation.

This weeks contestants.

That OpusX is mold. :cofcig:

I agree. Looks like spores.

I can't really see anything on the Pyramide?

Yeah, the pyramid has an unusual, worn leather look to it.  Not sure what the heck that is! :cigar:

The opus x definitely looks like mold. The pyramide looks like it's almost dry? Very leathery. Hopefully this can turn up a surprise though!

Totally agree on this.

Does the pyramid merely have a toothy wrapper?

I'm sure it will be a great smoke. Just wipe it off.  Haha

the plume caused the foot to split. That's the rarist plume of all

Holy shallow depth of field batman!

The micro shot does look a bit crystalline... I'm firmly in the plume skeptic camp after getting the macro view of the Opus

Dude.

This made my whole day.

I'll be laughing about this for a while, and completely unable to really explain it to anyone.

Plume is nothing more than a myth like the Lochness monster, IMO.

That looks like the humidor at Le Lounge Kleber at the Peninsula in Paris. Single worst cigar lounge I've ever visited.

What is it about Paris? I had the same experience at La Civette-- supposedly the best cigar shop in Paris.

In my experience, all of France and a lot of Europe...

I am not certified to know of course, but I have a new theory. On non-Cubans this is cocaine to boost its marketing and attract sales interest.

On Cuban cigars, it is simply sand from the beach, where Cuban cigars are sold.

Not rocket science.

Agreed.   Looks just like that VSG I sent in for the initial run.  I've had Opus like that as well.

Don't really see anything on the other....

Aspergillus on the Opus - I'm calling it.

The surface of the belicoso is interesting - something looks off, but then again, I don't enjoy magnified views of the surface of my cigars. Perhaps I will start?
