PigFish Posted December 28, 2016 Posted December 28, 2016 A little self-defilement is good for the soul! First time I looked in the mirror, taking R2D2 over there in the corner to the head (I cannot for the life of me, piss in bed), I looked up and said, "my God it is the Lord Humungous, ruler of the wasteland." (Road Warrior for you not in the know) ... the rest we kept PG. -R 1

My wife posted this on FB today. Amazing. You are indeed a very lucky man. What a beautiful little girl and just look at the joy and love in her face. I never became a dad but I have friends kids who treat me like family but I do realize I am missing out on so much. This is what Christmas is all about. 1
Popular Post Drguano Posted January 1, 2017 Popular Post Posted January 1, 2017 Pissing rain again but you expect that in London. The misery is eased a great deal by a splendid Esplendido and shelter from the storm on New Years Day. Happy 2017, mates! 6

Popular Post JohnS Posted January 1, 2017 Popular Post Posted January 1, 2017 Well, it's been a fun Christmas/New Year's period this year! Firstly, we helped out @Fuzz with a delivery just prior to Christmas! Christmas was great with the family. My brother-in-law @Cuzz and I did the bbq, we sang Christmas Carols, family members swam and I finished the night off with a Hoyo de Monterrey Le Hoyo du Prince. Then, we enjoyed a Vertical Wine tasting with @jay8354 And that Alex (El Comodoro Hotel) custom (thanks @Fuzz) was seriously every bit as good as the 2003 Hoyo de Monterrey Le Hoyo des Dieux I enjoyed (thanks @Duxnutz) Finally, enjoying cards with my family and goofing around on New Year's Eve! 8
Popular Post westg Posted January 2, 2017 Popular Post Posted January 2, 2017 we managed to get the girls smoking a cigar or two to kick off the new year . Health happiness and luck to everyone for 2017 . 5
Onelove Posted January 2, 2017 Posted January 2, 2017 Though I've enjoyed many good cigars and drinks over this break, this would have to be my favourite photo and moment. 3

We totally tried Vegemite today and got it on video. Some great new Aussie friends sent us an Aussie Survival Kit for Christmas with Lolly Gobble Bliss Bombs, Vegemite and Tim Tams. (all of which we'd never had) Our friends Linda and Jason were particularly curious what we would think about the Vegemite so we just had to get it on video and send it to them. A couple things about the video... I'm the guy doing all of the talking.. I have mouth full of braces so chewing a large wad of bread is kind of a pain in the ass, so sorry for the lip smacking and talking with my mouth open. (if you have a thing about that, look away.. look away..) The joke about "Suck slowly said the Bishop to the Actress..", came from instructions on correct methodology for enjoying Tim Tams. We were cheekily instructed to bite off a corner on each end of the Tim Tam and "slowly suck" our coffee up through it until it makes it to our mouth then shove the whole cookie (biscuit if you're an Aussie) in to melt. It's quite good.. It was referred to as the "Tim Tam Orgasm.." I totally see what that means. I'm southern and 'ain't sorry ;-) ..finally I was *not* attempting an Aussie accent at the end. More British.. Enjoy! Brian, once you've got yourself into the Vegemite you can up the ante to the very British wonder that is Marmite. It's a man's version of Vegemite. Do you trust me? you love gin and tonic now right? happy new year to bill and yourself

dobaman Posted January 2, 2017 Posted January 2, 2017 We have Stanley and Reg loving their Christmas outfits. There is a strict dress code on our deck, Gentlemen must wear jackets James Squire's Hop Thief is worth a look. (for the Aussies anyhow) 3

Dad and I shoot Fuji and brought the Instax 2 Printer to Havana with us. We have a lot of fun with it on the street giving taking photos of random people and then giving them the photo.. Their eyes would light up once they realized what was happening.

I have a Polaroid 600 that we love to play with, but the film is a joke to get a hold of, so we have moved the girls over to the Instax. Got some cracking photos with that over the hols so far. 1

Westside Threat Posted January 3, 2017 Posted January 3, 2017 These sum up the last couple of weeks. Super bummed to be going to work tomorrow after such a nice time with the family 2
Popular Post mgcrunch Posted January 3, 2017 Popular Post Posted January 3, 2017 Spent Christmas with the in laws. Brought a bunch of cigars and a fifth of booze. Ended up with the Diplo and had a great time alone on the porch. Thankfully, it was a warm day with little wind, as the ash will attest. If I back up to Christmas Eve day, before we headed out to get the rental car for a trip to the in laws, I enjoyed a Mag 56. Nice cigar, but not my style. That bottle of Oog is the absolute best however. On the way back home from the in laws, stopped at a buddy's house to have a dram and a smoke. Opus 20th and Elijah Craig Barrel Strength. Dollar for dollar, I'd take the Stagg jr, but this is an excellent bottle. Was also treated to a glass of Willet 13 year. As we scoot closer to New Years, the 30th, I had a rough workday and unwound with an Opus Oscuro and Michters Barrel Strength Rye as I waited for friends to arrive. New Year's Eve, I had a bottle of California Zin and a 2011 QdO Corona, courtesy of Rob and the team. Beautiful box. Lastly, New Years Day, I smoked an RACF with a dram of Port Charlotte Scottish Barley, a wonderful bottle that I wish could be repackaged as potpourri. Happy New Year!Sent from my SM-G900V using Tapatalk 5
Popular Post hedgeybaby Posted January 3, 2017 Popular Post Posted January 3, 2017 2016 was a tricky one on a lot of fronts. Problems with my wife getting her U.K. visa, pregnancy and morning sickness, arguments and general lack of money etc etc but I am pleased to confirm that I had an absolutely wonderful Christmas Our first child Penelope enjoyed (probably,) her first Christmas. She seemed to like the flashing lights anyway. I was doing the cooking this year and instead of the traditional turkey we had Pernil (Puerto Rican roast pork.) Christmas lunch went well (half an hour late,) apart from me overcooking the potatoes and ending up with mash. My Mum n Dad came over and seemed to really enjoy themselves. Music wise, on Christmas eve I enjoyed via Spotify Christmas carols and then Christmas morn a spot of Phil Spector's Christmas albulm. Cigar wise wasn't as good as I had hoped. Thursday night (23rd,) consisted of a Punch Coronations (plugged and unsmokeable,) Christmas Eve I had a Bolivar No 2 (even worse than the Punch which really pissed me off as it cost about £20.00) All was redemeed on Christams night as I had a Ramon Allones SS and I was very chuffed as not only was it an excellent smoke but I also got lots of fruity flavours. NYE was very tame and I enjoyed a Punch Punch which was lovely. All in all a truly magical Christmas after a tricky 2016 6
kwsaw63 Posted January 3, 2017 Posted January 3, 2017 Stayed at home over Christmas and New Year. Enjoyed a nice selection of cigars though... Christmas was a great VR Familiar from 1999. New Year's Eve was a Hoyo des Dieux from 2003. 1
Ferrero Posted January 4, 2017 Posted January 4, 2017 Hope you all had a fantastic Christmas and NY. The submissions have been great, thanks for getting them in. Time to announce a WINNER! We were going to do a classic Smithy and Di video draw but time constraints have us doing it the standard way. Congratulations to @madandana! PM me your details and we will get your prize on the way to you. HAPPY NEW YEAR EVERYONE! 3
