I don't want to worry you but it may deserve to talk to a respiratory specialist…

Do you swallow the smoke inadvertently from time to time? It happens to me regularly…

i'm not worried! I may swallow smoke from time to time yes. But i'm never out of breath or anything like that, and I go to the gym 3 times a week. Its not really pain, more like a sensation I have lol.

I went through a spell over the last 6 months or so. Nothing tasted good to me. I lost interest in food, cooking, cigars, etc. When I drank, it was for the effect, not for the taste. I eventually wen

NEWARK, N.J. -- U.S. Senator Frank R. Lautenberg (D-N.J.) has renewed his call for a ban on flavored cigars, which he claimed are "surging in popularity" among children and young adults. Uh, no. They

I don't like having the cigar after taste in my mouth the next morning when I have brushed my teeth thoroughly the night before - what is with that?

Also I smoke in moderation as I'd rather smoke cigars as a treat rather than as a habit. Habits become all too familiar for me so these days I smoke infrequently. Also I believe that very regular cigar smokers end up getting addicted to the nicotine and also health risks can"t be totally ignored. Still we all got to have some vices and if I had the opportunity I'd smoke more than I do and I love cuban cigars.

I'm with you. Cigar smoking, per se, has never been a habit for me. A compulsion, maybe. However, there is one exception that I make with clear mind. When I'm writing and writing hard, I always like to have a cigar in mouth. It helps me think and focus. It's generally not an expensive cigar. I buy boxes and boxes of Quintero Brevas for just this reason.

Everytime I tell myself I won't smoke in the truck again, I end up breaking my own rule. It happens very infrequently... and is always a special treat. It makes long trips and Atlanta traffic more tolerable.

  • 2 weeks later...

I really only smoke when its a nice day/night outside. When I'm relaxed. I have no desire to smoke when I have other things to worry about or if I think the cigar would have to be rushed. The most desire I have for smoking a cigar is a weekend morning with a cup of coffee (small, skinny cigar for that).... and I always want to smoke a big tasty cigar after a good meal that is full of red meat.

My desire to smoke works the same as my desire to drink good liquor, whether whiskey or rum. I only want to do it when I know I can appreciate the hard work that went into making it.

Not taking advantage of the after dinner or cup of coffee smoke is when I feel bad. However I just tell myself that the longer I wait the better the cigars will be.

I spy with my little eye a box of petit julietas. You should take a pic on white surface and send to trev.

Oh, I didn't know he was looking for pics... will check CCW.
