Took my old man to the Hunter Valley for the weekend for his 80th birthday. Since he likes fortifieds, grabbed him a few bottles.

Popped into the Cadenheads shop for the first time last week. Sherry 💣 not overly sweet though. Really rich. Great. 

Cadenheads are the world's oldest independent bottler. Must try some of their tastings.

Was able to pick up a bottle of FOURSQUARE INDELIBLE, great with Cuban cigars.

Tamdhu has slowly become one of my favorite Speyside distilleries. Couldn't pass up the opportunity to grab the oldest OB in their core range.

Did someone say Cadenhead's sherry? That's a really nice bottle, and I bet it drinks great! I find those cask strength Craig-Glen bottles can be quite closed off and need a little water.

Here is one I picked up at Auction last year. I'm waiting for a nice occasion to open it!

It's great neat. The other Sinteis burns quite a bit more and for me needs a little water.

That's a good brand of rum. Not sure if I had that one or another, but it was high quality for sure. Premium rums are real bargain. 

I like Central American & Jamaican brands more than those from PR/DR/Cuba/Haiti.
