Soooo close Our new Nudies/MOFOH shopping cart will be open in a few weeks and that will trigger the Canonzo sale to be followed by the Lancero/Carlota/Petit Corona/Spada Gorda/Fat Fundy/Queen Corona. It has been challenging but fun

Vendor should handle that no questions asked. Accept box back for full refund or credit you for the damaged sticks if you want to keep the undamaged ones. If there aren't any visible holes freezing for 3 days will kill anything inside. You'll never know you're smoking a dead beetle or cracked egg. We've all done it and never known. Your vendor is lazy and doesn't inspect anything. You can usually see the tell-tale fine brown powder pretty easily if you just open the lid. I can clearly see it on the lower lip of the box lid. I'd be pretty concerned with a vendor that lazy.

They are just in the resting room. Next step is off to be colour sorted before packaging. There is a lot of attention given to wrapper consistency at the outset. It is the reason that they look so uniform at this stage.

I’m using my wife’s birthday as an excuse to smoke a Siglo VI.

Still cold in Seattle. Some closed foot canonazo from 5+ years ago. I’m enjoying it. Two crack heads have approached me and I’m not even the first 1/3 down so there’s that.

Now that will make a grown man cry!

All last week it was like the middle of summer. This week back to normal so back to the garage I go.

Time to stock-up on pellets for the smoker. One half-ton of pure flavor: 5 - 40 lb. bags of Competition Blend (Maple, Hickory and Cherry); 10 - 20 lb. bags of Fruitwood Blend (Apple & Cherry) and my general favorite 30 - 20 lb. bags of Pecan Blend (Pecan and Oak). Hoping to do a lot of smoking this summer. The wife is in the background going - "you've got to be kidding me! Do your really think your going to use all that?"
