Popular Post El Hoze Posted August 18 Popular Post Posted August 18 There is a fishing fly called the “game changer” that is literally the only fly some guys fish these days. It is aptly named. The BR 109 I will refer to as the game changer going forward. 23

Popular Post barrygoodvibes Posted August 18 Popular Post Posted August 18 It’s about to storm here for I can’t remember how many days in a row this is now. Short Smoke special. 2019 Por Larrañaga Monte Carlo. Interesting cigar. I do like a slim and long Vitola. This is probably my third one from the box and two of the three have not been that great. This being one of them. I had one very tasty one that had this aged musty, black earl grey tea flavor that was very good. Some could argue that buying a few boxes of these and aging them for 8 to 10 years could yield you similar results and flavors as a Cohiba Lancero. I don’t disagree with this. The pros for this are that it’s a very affordable cigar that can give you quite a unique flavor profile, especially with heavy aging. The retrohale is very good with no pepper or harshness and I personally think the 2nd half is twice as good as the first half. It’s a great quicker smoke for the winter time or bad weather. The cons are that it doesn’t smoke great right away and even after five or six years of age, they aren’t rocking my socks off. They are also plagued with draw issues. 💨 💨 out of 5 smokes but there is potential for a higher rating in the next few years. 24

I hope to visit that area one day. A lot of the factories that I used to order from when I had an eBay store were located there. 3

I have found this box to be outstanding. Perfect construction and brilliant flavors. I have another P2 box (XLB MAY 05) and I prefer the UBL 23 box. They really are one best cigars being rolled. 1
Popular Post Gemini_Man Posted August 18 Popular Post Posted August 18 '22 RyJ Linea De Oro Nobles. Excellent cigar. At first, upon smoking both the Dianas and the Nobles I preferred the Dianas. Now the second time around a few months later I prefer the Nobles. Both from 2022. Maybe they will just oscillate back and forth and compete for my adoration! 25

Popular Post Çnote Posted August 19 Popular Post Posted August 19 @Capn_Jackson has the summer sniffles but is hoping for a Bolivar soon and then we'll get back to Duos. I didn't find a CC quickly in my stash, but one of the local B&Ms had this it their 'best of 2024' sampler that I picked up to pay rent. Shockingly fine. If they rolled this in a proper corona I'd age a box for a minute. HUHC 18
