An unusual late night pick for me: Lusitania OBM JUL 16. I craved that distinctive rich bready flavour and the cool mildness the first third of a Lusi brings. Every stick from this 10 count box has been excellent. Sadly just a few left now.

Don't give up on them! You may smoke them young (and yours are rather "fresh", even though coming as singles), but these are made from very rich tobacco, and the packaging has a similar impact like tubos have. Either drybox or give them a couple of years. That said, I do like them young as well as aged. Even though they are not the bargain they used to be, still, one of the best values within RyJ if you ask me. For many, this cigar is a big misunderstanding, which is a real shame.

2014 San Cristobal La Fuerza. Very, very good cigar !!

After grilling steaks and shrimp this evening I chose a P2 from a box dated LRE DIC 09. One of my "after a big dinner faves".... ?  It doesn't seem to get as much love as the other "Series" cigars, or people are just not talking about them, I'm not sure. Regardless,  smoking great here !!

Having an early morning Siglo VI, after getting off a 24 hour shift is kind-of "a thing" for me.  I guess when I come home completely exhausted, the amazing flavors in the Siglo VI reminds me of why I work 24 hour shifts in the first place.
