Popular Post Trimming Posted May 12, 2019 Popular Post Posted May 12, 2019 Grabbed a pump boat ride to Guimaras as the Mango festival started today. Decided to watch a Local Basketball game and take in a 898. No humidor needed here... Morning coffee as the girls prep for Mother’s Day meal. I take so much for granted in a first world country. As I wind up overlooking a lot of life’s true meaning... 28

Popular Post jtfrizzy Posted May 12, 2019 Popular Post Posted May 12, 2019 Can't remeber the Box Code, but@JayHabanos probably knows them he's a much better cigar smoker than I'll ever be, but a nice 2007 Trinidad Ingenios EL paired with a little Whistle Pig Rye. It started raining all of hhe sudden so I've been banished to my garage to smoke this one, but better than being out in the rain. Sent from my SM-N950U using Tapatalk 18

jcorona Posted May 12, 2019 Posted May 12, 2019 Still working on it. Just sitting on the patio with the laptop and doing some forum reading and posting done. This one is more of wind tunnel than previous ones, so I'm smoking it slower. With two years on it, the flavors are starting to develop more into what I would call a classic Siglo. Sweet cedar, hay, honey, slight grassy note, and some light spice. Aside from the draw being loose, so far so good.Is it worth the coin?

They basically taste like when you get a particularly good box of CoRos with some age on them. I dont know how much age because the insert doesn’t say, like it did on the Year Of The Dog cigars, but they definitely dont taste young. 1

Popular Post JohnS Posted May 12, 2019 Popular Post Posted May 12, 2019 Juan López Selección No.2 MEL Dic 2016 The Juan Lopez Seleccion No.2, as many of you are aware, is a forum favourite. I've found that I've never quite connected with them in their youth, but rested awhile (at least 3 to 5 years) I have enjoyed them. Today I wanted to give this cigar another try to challenge my preference or bias in regards to this cigar. This particular JL2 started off really well. It was a touch over medium, so that pleased me straight away, and wasn't spicy in anyway. It had a nice mix of coffee, chocolate and orange citrus and I was hoping that this initial burst of flavour and refinement could stay into the middle third. Alas, this was not to be. What let the cigar down was the under-filling which prevented the flavours from melding like in the first third and also made the cigar burn a little quicker and hot for my liking. It also began to go out a number of times in the final third. I salvaged what I could and let it go in the final inch, content that there's always another time. 21 1

Popular Post mtd057 Posted May 13, 2019 Popular Post Posted May 13, 2019 Rare two cigar day for me. It was a beautiful day in CO and finally felt enough like spring to do some yard work. I am praying that the snow is over! 1st up was a beautiful cigar courtsey of @cfc1016 SCDLH El Principe TOS MAY 2016. Spectacular! Beautiful from start to finish. Rich, full and very satisifying. Many, many, thanks! 2nd stick was good, but nowhere near the Principe. Partagas Short UBM FEB 2018. Decent with most of what I expect but still tasted a bit young. Maybe I was spoiled by my first cigar of the day! I hope everyone enjoyed the weekend. 20

Popular Post jtfrizzy Posted May 13, 2019 Popular Post Posted May 13, 2019 2015 (not sure the Codes, just the year) Trinidad Coloniales paired with a little Havana Club on a raining Sunday night so I'm banished to the garage yet again. Don't really have the garage set up right yet. Sitting on a cooler that at the least has a cup holder molded into it to hold the rum, but this lrimative setup is all worth it to relax with a nice habanos and a drink before bed. Take care and have a good week everyone. Sent from my SM-N950U using Tapatalk 18
