A Sautter Custom Elephantes. I'd like to thank @Luca for gifting this to me. Wow...Laurence Davis certainly knows how to request a custom Cuban blend! How did this smoke? Gloriously! 1 hours and 45 minutes of supreme smoking pleasure for a great big jaw-breaker too! But...it wasn't overpowering in any way, instead I'd classify the smoking experience as a touch under medium in strength with the blend been a mix of Montecristo cocoa, nut and cream married with a H.Upmann toasted bread and espresso coffee spine. With a mix like that, how can it not be anything but fantastic?

I believe the dimensions for this cigar is 62 rg x 140 mm. Thankfully my Credo 3-in-1 cutter punched a nice hole in the cap with the largest punch.

For those of you curious how to pick this up, you need to be in England, go personally to Sautters in London, and be lucky enough to find it in the shop. I believe these customs are so popular, they tend to be restricted to Sautters regular customers, which if this is the case, I can appreciate and understand.

If you've been fortunate enough to come across these Sautters customs, please don't hesitate to add your opinion of them in this thread. For me? Again, (it was a) simply glorious cigar!

I'm enjoying them very much at the moment. I usually pull one out every other month or so. Better now than when I started but plenty of upside left.

Mine also started playing up last month - the arms seized up all together. Replaced, FOC - cannot fault their lifetime guarantee

This is a cigar most have probably never heard of or haven’t thought worth smoking. It’s a very inexpensive Dominican cigar called Montesino and it’s made by Fuente. 

 

They are light and sweet. They go great with my morning coffee.

Not sure how to rotate this as it was upright on my phone.
