A few from this week. A wonderful few days at the beach with no phone service, so I didn't get any pictures,  yay! Some beach cigars were 2018 Sir Winston, Esplindidos, Sig4, Hoyo DC (meh) ,SOP SEP 2019 ( last one of those was a champion) and an Esmerelda.

Speaking of wrappers…, for a change thought I’d dig out an EL. In fact one of the darkest in my possession. While not a fan of these overly dark ones with the leather-like wrappers, this has always been a great box. Draw was a bit more open than I prefer (but far from the Padrón wind tunnel I had the other day) yet the burn was immaculate. Still going strong. One of the top smokes I had thus far this year.

Rare foray into the Upmann Connoisseur 2 tonight. The 1 is one of my standard go-tos and a favourite, the A is an all-timer just below the Sir Winnie, the B is also complex and tasty. Let’s see how this does. Dr Pepper in as shop out of root beer.

Okay coming into final third and it’s been a great smoke, very chilled out, creamy, some forest floor, less shortbread than normal Upmann profile more cashew, light sugar cane, feels like a savannah, Bob Dylan’s line “sweet magnolia burning”.
