Bolivar New Gold Medal 2023

I smoked one last year, didn’t like it, it was very harsh, but it was also screaming to me: I will be a gem, be patient! 

Now it evolved so quickly to a great cigar! Judging from the evolution, I think it will be a legendary cigar in few years! Almost nothing of the current production can beat its potential, except maybe Partagas Aliados.

Birthday smoke. I planned on digging something special out from the tupperdors. Then I saw the D4 in the desktop...to me they are just great cigars. I think its from a 2019 box.

Started the night with a Frankenstein JL2 held together by cigar glue. It wanted to showcase its bonfires, but ultimately succumbed to poor construction. Tossed it midway into the 3/3. Enter the PSD4. Wanted to test a ‘23 box. Took me on a wild ride. I like where this box is heading, flavor wise at least. Both likely could’ve been improved by more dry box time.

MAR NOV 2020 Sig2 with a cup of mud to start the day. 

The Sig 2 was flawless, but left me wanting more. So a Monte 4 EPM SEP 2018 was next. The draw was a little snug, but this was the first out of the box that I didn't have to use the Perfect draw.
