I guess good bye to Cuban Cigars….my storage unit was broken into and with it my 3 coolers went away. Can’t describe how I feel to be honest, I had a lot of stuff there but the collection is the only thing that is truly killing me. I feel devastated.

Incredible development. Speechless. I’ll discuss it on next zoom session. Question is if the effort of criminal charges worth it or not. Guy got scared after police got involved. Took them less than a

Big development today, surprising tbh. Do not want to jinx it yet bc it just gives me a thin line of hope. More to come and my extended gratitude to any law enforcement and related members of this for

Sorry to read this.  Anything I can help with to lend a hand?  Were there security cameras?

Yep, hammer them all, obscure stuff too, in your local area, and beyond.

I have a spreadsheet with all dates and codes. Is this something we would be able to track down in these platforms?

Thank you

I wouldn't put anything out there that might tip them off.  I would contact all your local cigar stores and speak to the managers to make them aware of anyone trying to offload cubans etc.

If they are going to try and sell on second market platforms, it's unlikely they are going to be clued up enough to know the relevance of dates/codes to include them in the advert.

Again, I think the best thing you can do is to sign up to as many platforms as you can, and to put in a long list of search terms that will get forwarded to your email automatically.  Yes it will mean you email will get a little flooded everyday, but it will save you having to slavishly search for whats out there.

Maybe consider putting your list up on the private American members forum on FOH, so the good men and women of this forum can keep an eye out for you too

You should be able to submit a claim against the loss on your insurance.

Sorry to read this. I’d be heartbroken if my stash was stolen. A terrible loss.

I'm so sorry to read it. Maybe you can try insurance at least to have some of the money back?

This would be very interesting to discuss as he is in New York and Cuban cigars are illegal here. I wonder if insurance would even pay out for it. I wonder if the storage unit had insurance, and if it didn't, I have heard of a storage unit being covered under home owners/renters insurance depending on the company and policy. In my mind thinking as an insurance company, cocaine and Cuban cigars are in the same illegal boat, so if your 4 kilos of nose candy is stolen out of the trunk of your car and you file a claim, I really don't think that they would pay that out.

Inconceivable that it would be otherwise.
