Popular Post Chucko8 Posted April 28, 2023 Popular Post Posted April 28, 2023 I’m just finishing up mine as I type this out. An SLR Serie A from 1999. This cigar is all that I could ask for. Peachy sweet, spice, woody, earthy and cream laden. Can’t see anything coming close for me in the next 2 days. What has yours been? 11
Popular Post Çnote Posted April 28, 2023 Popular Post Posted April 28, 2023 I had two great ones. A Viaje 2017 Double Edged Sword A 2021 Padilla 8&11 9

Wish I would have held onto them now! I always liked the A with significant age. Was not a fan of young one's 1
Popular Post hrs1 Posted April 28, 2023 Popular Post Posted April 28, 2023 HU 2 (EPO MAY 22) for me. Started off light, but just kept getting richer and richer. Excellent smoke 14
Popular Post BrightonCorgi Posted April 28, 2023 Popular Post Posted April 28, 2023 No picture, but had my first SCDH El Morro and was a great change of pace. Well constructed with a clean detailed ash. 5
Popular Post JohnS Posted April 28, 2023 Popular Post Posted April 28, 2023 A mid-2015 Bolivar Tubos No.1...simply outstanding. And to prove that lightning does indeed strike twice, I followed it up with another one week later in April and it was every bit as exceptional as this exemplary specimen! 17
Popular Post westg Posted April 28, 2023 Popular Post Posted April 28, 2023 Not to shabby. Very enjoyanle from everyones favourite moderator . 9

Popular Post Tunkat92 Posted April 29, 2023 Popular Post Posted April 29, 2023 2016 Bolivar Libertador…have not smoked anything close to this in a long time. The complexity was second to none. 8

Popular Post SMELTZ Posted April 29, 2023 Popular Post Posted April 29, 2023 2001 Partagas Corona Grande, 42 x 6”. 97 pointer. I wish they still made cigars like this. To the right a Partagas Short 10

Popular Post Chibearsv Posted April 29, 2023 Popular Post Posted April 29, 2023 Picture is not the one I smoked this month, but it’s from the same box. OER MAY 2020 Punch DC. A+++ and a tough contender to beat for cigar of this century. Perfect in every way and hit my taste buds just right that day. Plus it was one of the first outdoor cigars after a long gray winter. Just magnificent! 14
Popular Post Çnote Posted April 29, 2023 Popular Post Posted April 29, 2023 I just lit this and there's a new local champion. 7
Popular Post Islandboy Posted April 29, 2023 Popular Post Posted April 29, 2023 I dipped into a box of these last night...wow. Everything about it was stunning - a rich, complex forest floor earthiness, an intoxicating aroma, perfect draw and burn. But here’s the real kick in the pants that suddenly came to me as I was marveling at the experience...I’ve read Rob talk about “tactile feel” but never really understood it until last night. This cigar, with both its size and shape, just seemed to fit in the tips of my fingers with perfection. That was a really interesting sensation, to say the least. 15

Popular Post prshah25 Posted April 30, 2023 Popular Post Posted April 30, 2023 BRC 2019.. best cigar this April.. 95 points.. 8
Popular Post Frozen North Posted May 1, 2023 Popular Post Posted May 1, 2023 Had this amazing JL 2011 with this delicious Old Fashioned at the Bellagio. 6
foursite12 Posted May 1, 2023 Posted May 1, 2023 Fundy-RAG Nov 17. Hadn't pulled from the box in a few years. The evolution since then has been extraordinary. A 95 pointer all day, with unique flavor profile. I felt a weird sort of remorse, knowing that each one of these will never be replaced but we must carry on. 4
msb06c Posted May 1, 2023 Posted May 1, 2023 I'm still "resting" my first CC purchase from last month (until I finish the first part of the course I'm currently taking) so no CCs just yet. But on the plus side, I got a wineador so now my cubans are chilling, literally, at 69 (nice!) instead of 75. But I had a melanio serie v last week which previously was pretty forgettable. I don't know if my palette is more practiced now that I have like ~40 sticks under my belt or if it was the 3 months of rest in my humidor but it was fantastic. I have 5 figurados in the mail and will buy a box when we get some Labor Day / Mothers Day sales. Sorry I don't have any CC intel, but I'm hoping to get my hands on some from an upcoming 24:24 2

Also, just like CC's, the Oliva Melanio Serie V benefit from some resting / aging. I've got some of the Melanio Robusto's from 2016 that have mellowed and are really good smokes; some Serie V Belicoso's from 2019 that one of my smoking mates thinks is the best cigar in my humidor, so I've saved them for him; and some Lancero's from 2019 that just in the past year are starting to get some pistachio flavor mixed in with the leather. All really good cigars with a little age.
