Looks like yours are fun Prez. Just finished family lunch after morning mass at the church, now thinking about what cigar to smoke after a full meal. Prepared HDM Epicure De Luxe 2019, Monte 1 2018 and Punch Punch 48 2019. Any suggestion which to smoke?

Work day for me today. Maintenance op, starting with replacing defective monitoring equipment in a bridge within a bigger infrastructural project. Then later, nightshift work from midnight till tomorrow morning, plus 1.5 h drive to and from. So a likely little relaxing Sunday (well, perhaps an hour sleep slipped in, haha). But - a quick BBQ planned for the afternoon/evening (nothing fancy a few ribeyes and some veggie stuff for the more conscious non-carnivorous family members).

One just has to grab each opportunity for some quality time! 😄

Beautiful 22° here in the south of England too so a dip in the river later for me. Currently decompressing with a rather good '14 Fonseca No.1 after an excellent Scout open day and recruiting drive yesterday that's dominated my time over the last week. I'm not looking at emails until tomorrow...

Not too lazy - plenty of cases to brief for school this week, but I’ll still find time to watch the Eagles.

I'm not doing nuthin. Wife's also out today. Heading to the green now for breakfast, coffee, wee cigar.

Then. No ideas! Hopefully there's beer and more cigars in the picture.

I'm no good at these loose days. Should make more of them.

NFL week 1. Lots of interesting games. Workout this morning and grocery store down street smokes their own ribs and briskets so will pick something up for games. Maybe a Churchill for Chiefs game in afternoon.

Bears football!  Rainy day coming and brand new sod on the field. Should be interesting. Hopefully the rain won’t be blowing sideways so I can have cigars on the patio. If it’s bad, the garage tv is ready.

We get Bears Niners game here in KC. I almost picked them in FOH pick em. Will see. Not sold on Lance just yet due to lack of experience. Fields at least has a year under his belt. Needs protection from O line

Must be on that master case.  Don't suck the Aussie D so hard bro.

That’s *legal* cases, not cigar cases.

We caught up with my wife's cousin in Heraklion, Greece (on the island of Crete)

You're on the island? That's awesome. Can you go on the Turkish side or is that a big No-No?

Close, you're thinking of Cyprus. Crete is further west and just south of the Greek mainland. Like Cyprus it's been an important naval stronghold which many nations have fought over throughout its history. Crete is probably most famous, archaeologically-speaking, for the Palace of Knossos where King Minos kept the Minotaur, as per the well-known ancient myth.

Was going to be a rest day as well, but too antsy for that. About to get on the heavy bag for 45 min, have lunch, and then light up a Hoyo Des Dieux for this week's review. Haven't posted one in at least 6 months and haven't had this stick before. At least the weather's cleared up here. Good day for it!

Low and slow cook began an hour ago.  Next few hours of basting and watching football with a nice Cohiba.

Beer just called me, so….I guess heading to his place for a while.

Just got back from A&E. back home now looking after my missus.   Over the last 17hrs, i've had a brutal window into how the conservative government have purposefully kneecapped our NHS.   Underfunded and overworked. heroic doctors and nurses at the end of their tether..........this is madness.    Nevermind the loss of a Queen, the main crown jewel of the UK the NHS is about to be snuffed out by greed obsessed psychopaths in suits.

rant over..........for now.

A lazy Sunday indeed, time to recoup

Hope you are having a great time John, absolutely love Crete.  We were there a couple of years ago to walk the Samria Gorge, and a number of other historical sites.

If you are a seafood fan, try to get to this restaurant if you can,  it's just outside Chania.

Thank you for the recommendation, Stefan. That all looks like magic! 👍

If you make it there John, make sure you take pictures and post them up.   that said, the whole of Crete is pretty magical apart from the 'little England' places like Malia.

Enjoy it mate, magical place.

Sorry, John, but I just have to...
